"Skyland a great place to visit!!!"

Living in Sevierville, we try to take advantage of the local attractions before the tourist season hits, thus our trip to Skyland. All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly, from the ladies at the ticket window to the one running the general store. Jay, the gentleman working the chair lift had us laughing every time!! And the younger men down below were so patient with us and slowed the ride down to allow us time to get off safely. Though there was very few folks at the place during out visit the entertainment people still went out of their way!! James Whipper performed though there were only four of us as if he had a full crowd. Very nice man very informative and had us all laughing. ( We watched him twice!!) Tennessee Tess was also amazing!! She did a full out routine for us to include a split that was impressive!! All the folks handling the animals were very nice and answered our questions with patience!! Overall very much enjoyed the day!! Very relaxing and beautiful views!! The coaster was so much fun we rode both days!! Best coaster we have found!! Thank you all for helping us have such a great time!!

"Safari and chairlift."

We did the Safari Hayride and the Sky chairlift ride. Madison on the Safari’s Hayride was very knowledgeable and made the ride joyful. Jay was the assistant on the chairlift ride, he was very nice and made us feel welcome to the SkyLand Ranch. Will definitely come back again.

"Don’t Pass Up This Hidden Gem"

Don’t skip this place!! The friendliest staff around! Everyone was super informative & helpful. Really enjoyed the hayride & being able to feed the different animals along the ride. Our tour guide (animal caretaker/ranch hand) Emily was amazing! Loved how she was so personable & welcoming. She really knows the animals & their individual personalities. Rode the Mountain Coaster and it was an exhilarating ride! The ride attendant was pleasant & helpful. The chairlift to the ranch on the mountain has an amazing view! Don’t take the shuttle! You don’t want to miss the view!! Jaybird was there to welcome us and was super funny and welcoming! You can tell these folks love working there! Listened to some great music by the Monroeville Band and Gary “Biscuit” Davis! They guys really can pick and sing! The atmosphere is so relaxing with plenty of places to sit. Food at the Cafe/bakery was great! My husband had the brisket sandwich and I had the turkey. We rode the Wagonwheeler Tower swing and again, amazing views! The ride attendant was super friendly. They have a nice playground for kids and plenty of opportunities to get up close to a variety of animals both on the hayride and around the ranch. Everything was VERY clean! Cute gift shop! It’s a wonderful attraction for both young and old! Overheard it’s been open only a couple of years so I’m sure it’s a work in progress with adding more attractions and things to do, but they’ve really got a gem here! Definitely will visit again and again!

We visited some time ago and are looking at the reviews to decide if we will come back next month. We really liked it when we came last year. We loved the views and the atmosphere. We love in Arizona and enjoyed soaking in the southern atmosphere. I do somewhat agree with a few reviews on here that compared to other attractions in the area perhaps there is less to do. However the price is reasonable and I still highly suggest you go especially if you are staying in the Smokies for more than 4-5 days or have done everything else. We are debating between Anakeesta and Skyland ranch next month and may choose Skyland partially because of budget.

What a treat !! We had the opportunity to visit Skyland Ranch in Sevierville, It is a Must to visit. The chairlift, the mountain coaster and the views are unbelievable!! Would highly recommend!!
