"Family Fun"

We had an awesome time at the Ripley’s Museum. It was seven of us and we had fun watching the 4D movie and playing the inter active games. The artifacts and exhibits provided the kids with a lot of great information. We all had a ball and would do it again. Getting the tickets ghrough Reserve Williamsburg helped to cut the cost.

I felt that this was a bit expensive, but it was raining and we had no plans, plus my son wanted to go and it was his birthday. I've been to several Ripley museums and this one is pretty much like all the rest of them.

"Not worth it"

We were pretty disappointed. The place is pretty small & it didn't take long at all to look at everything (45 minutes). The atomic thing & lazer were located each in a small room, not much to it. Everything just seemed cheesy & out of date. The 4D movie was cute, but still not worth it. Wish we would have done something else to be honest.

This is a great place. A lot o exhibits. They also have three 3D movies. They were great. The kids really enjoyed this place. They had games to play, virtual reality, and others. They sold shirts their too. The kids enjoyed getting one of those. Would highly recommend seeing this place.

Staff don't seem to interested in generating any interest in what is displayed. There are some games/challenges you have to pay extra for. Change machines did not work. Not much interactive other than that. Exhibits are mildly interesting. Make this a maybe for a rainy day or for kids tired of shopping the outlet stores. $70USD for 2 adults and 2 kids.

Frequently Asked Questions about Ripley's Believe It or Not! Williamsburg

What goes on in the 4D Theater?
We have two different shows running in our theater. They alternate every half hour starting one hour after we open. The shows are similar to an amusement park ride, only the chairs do not move so no one gets tossed around. Each show is about 15 minutes long. You watch them with 3D glasses while we spray you with air and water, tickle your legs and several other surprises. The shows themselves are appropriate for all ages, although sometimes small children are scared of the dinosaurs.

Are your exhibits different from other Ripley’s?
Yes! Everything is real and unique. Some of the Odditoriums may have a few of the same wax figures, but the artifacts are all unique to each show.

Are the attractions wheelchair accessible?
We are ADA compliant and we have 4 available spaces in our 4D Theater specially designed for guests in wheelchairs.

Where can I park?
We have ample and free parking at the Odditorium.

Do you have a snack bar?
We do not allow food or beverages in the attractions, but there are approximately 20 restaurants within a 1-mile radius of our location.

Can I take pictures?
Yes. You may take as many pictures as you’d like.

How old do you have to be to enter by yourself?
You must be 13 or older to be in the attractions by yourself. Anyone 12 and under must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Does the Mini-Golf cost extra?
Yes, you can purchase a ticket at the front desk.
