"Basic hotel room with terrible internet"

The check in staff is very nice but the internet is so bad as to be unusable which means if you're coming for a conference you really can't stay here if you expect to get any work done. Apparently it has to do with construction so I wouldn't expect it to be fixed anytime soon.

Everything was good and Natalie and Kameron was so helpful. Would stay here again. Natalie gave us great places on where to eat and told us how to get to the free shuttle to old town Williamsburg and always said hi to us when she seen us. Kameron was so helpful when we was checking out and they was both so polite.

Hotel was in a very convenient location to Colonial Williamsburg, just a 10 minute walk on a nature trail/footpath. Rooms were quiet. The hotel is clean but dated. Good for families on a budget. Breakfast is included, but it’s very basic and no hot food options. Included two tickets to Colonial Williamsburg which was a plus!

"Serviceable hotel with basic level of amenities"

Had a great experience at CW and appreciated the location of the hotel near the Visitor Center, which was where shuttle buses originated. King Suite was spacious and WiFi was adequate. TV was basic cable, bathroom was clean. Continental breakfast was adequate, though very crowded with waves of families and school groups. Our package included 5 day entry tickets to CW and Busch Gardens, which made this a good value. Tickets that were supposed to arrive by email never came, however, and first experience was wasted in waiting in line for 30 minutes. Hotel staff seemed to not have any idea how that works and seemed annoyed when I complained about the snafu.

"Comfortable Room, Questionable Hotel Staff Communication"
TripAdvisor user rating 2 out of 5

- Two (2) broken tread mills in the gym. - Yoga mats in the gym need to be replaced. They have holes in them. - Rooms have thin walls. Something to keep in mind when traveling with kids and pets. We overheard a conversation in a nearby room at 11:00 PM. They weren't loud... The walls were super thin is all. - I placed two orders for eight (8) liters of water total. I received a confirmation email confirming that I have eight (8) liters of water as an add on order. There was four (4) liters of water in the room upon arrival. Staff rudely stated that four (4) liters of water was all I was going to get. Staff stated that if I needed extra water that I can get it myself in the lobby. Staff confirmed that I was only charged for one order of four (4) liters only. The following day, an additional four (4) liters of water was delivered to my room without my approval or knowledge. I had "Privacy Please" displayed on the door when I was away. I received zero notification while I was out of my room. I received zero notification on my cell phone... But yet the staff went into my room with no one present, and without my approval. Blatant disregard to personal privacy, property, respect and property.
