"Neither Quality or Choice - Never again"

We stayed here 1/30/2026 for 2 nights. Our friends booked 2 rooms, they were in 111, and we were initially in 110. When we got in the rooms, they are dated and that is fine. The first issue is the destroyed dresser that has had the drawer fronts badly screwed to the frame and the whole unit is useless. Then when we noticed a bug crawling on the wall above the bed, we went into the bathroom to get a Kleenex to kill it. We found dozens of insects crawling on the floor, the toilet and the tub. We complained and were put in room 109 and it was fine, other than the empty water bottles on the bathroom floor. This place is a hell hole. It was not our pick we let friends pick and I can assure you never again. Ironically they still rented room 110 out for both Friday night and Saturday night to 2 different sets of guests. They did nothing to fix the problems in the rooms. Out friends were still in room 111 laughed when they heard a women's scream in the middle of the night when she saw the bugs In the bathroom.

"Sometimes, breaking up is not hard to do. Scary stay, not to be repeated."

My wife and I have stayed here for a winter getaway for years, and sadly, this will be the last time. The pool and hot tub, which were main reasons for choosing this hotel, were closed, and the alternative provided, going to the hotel next door, required a lot of trucking around outside in the cold. Several things in our room were broken, including the bathroom vent fan and the towel holder, which was attached to some surface that was coming away from the wall. But the killer was that the power was scheduled to be out in some portions of the hotel from 7-11 am. We were told by the desk clerk that it was in floors above floor 4, so in room 405, we should be ok. When we walked out of our room in the morning, the hallway was dark. The elevator was not working. AND THE STAIRWELLS WERE PITCH BLACK! Fortunately I had packed a flashlight, so I used that, and we very slowly and carefully made our way down the staircase. It was scary and dangerous. When I told the front desk clerk, he said he would get lights on in one of the stairwells; this consisted of a couple of portable halogen lamps. And wedging a door to one of the stairwells open with a broom handle to let in a little bit of light. In spite of the fact that we were booked for another day, we checked out. The clerk refunded our second day, which we appreciated, but we're in our 70's and not up for this kind of adventure. We won't be staying here again.

This a good hotel if you want to stay close to the falls. Walking distance - self parking and breakfast included. Hotel conditions - great shower power! Love it. Breakfast was what expected. Fruits, bread, waffles, muffins, coffee, juice etc.

"Would Stay Again"

Hotel is old but we stayed in the tower part with nice view of the falls. The room was clean and very basic. Great location and free parking. Pool area was clean and nice with jetted hot tub. Breakfast wasn't the best but for a quick something it will do. Can't speak to the condition of the motel style rooms on the other part of the building. For the price and everything else considered I would stay here again.

"No Quality at the Quality Hotel"
TripAdvisor user rating 2.0 out of 5
Reviewed October 26, 2025
I just returned home and have to say that this was all around an undesirable stay to say the least. Letw start off by saying that this is the third time staying at this property and I have seen a continuous decline. In no means was expecting a high end stay, but at $200+ pn (which is the most I’ve paid to stay at this property) I would expect an average standard. The first room that we were given was really nothing like the pictures stated for the room I selected. Spoke to front desk and they relocated me to another room” free of charge.” And to be honest that room wasn’t that much better. PROS - Easy check-in - Room change with more or less easy to be done - Free buffet Breakfast was adequate, and the staff was friendly - Location is great for walking to attractions and casino - No parking fee ( but limited spaces) CONS - the first room was in a sketchy stairwell on its own separate from all the other rooms beside and utility room - wobbly floor tiles in the bathroom - Warped flooring in the bedroom - Outdated baseboard heaters - Draft coming in through the hole in the wall that houses the air conditioning unit - Hole in the wall for electrical/cables - Lighting wasn’t the best - curtains being held close with odd pieces of Velcro - Stains on office chair in room - Second chair in the room was very wobbly - Very limited parking and secondary parking lot is at the skyline tower - If you are not staying in the tower, be prepared to climb a lot of stairs if you were staying in the centre building which was never stated - Outside door is kept open so hallway outside your room is cold, which has a draft that comes under the door - Then while you can hear what’s happening and all the other rooms, including above and below The icing on the cake is that when I got home, I realized I forgot something on the bed in the room. I realize that was totally my fault for not checking the bedsheets to make sure that nothing was forgotten on the bed, but when I called the hotel, they said they never found anything when I know I left it on the bed. But that’s their karma not mine. In all honesty, if you need to stay in the area, there are other places you can stay for the similar price or just a little bit more for a better experience. This was my absolute last day at this hotel.
