Went for a walk along the river behind the Pirate Dinner show. There was no cars in the parking lot, it looked like no one was there at all and we could hear screams from the Pirate Dinner Show building that sounded like a seal. The animal was screaming loudly constantly as if to be in extreme distress. I have not been to the show but it saddened me so much to know that an animal is kept captive, no sunlight, no attention, no food. I have not rested since I heard the loud screams. So inhumane. So horrible, I will not condone or participate in the show that promotes animal cruelty for money.

Purchased tickets online for 6 adults and 2 children . We were able to bypass waiting in line for tickets and go right in . The lobby and store get very crowded quickly. They really need something to entertain the crowd while they wait. The video trivia really doesn’t cut it when you’ve paid so much for tickets . Also herding everyone out the small hallway Into the gift shop when the show is over is not a pleasant experience at all !! Now the food and service were all very good and the show we throughly enjoyed ! The performers were just amazing . We had family from mid 80’s to under 10 and everyone loved the show .

This was a cool experience. Dinner was good, was not all you can eat though. There was singing, dancing, gymnastics, and live animals. Our kids were picked to take part in the interactive segment with the audience. It was a blast. Our server Meghan was great.

Had seen both Dixie Stampedes (regular and Christmas), so wanted something different, but just as good. Wow! Did we find it! Dolly's company does this too, so it's the same basic format. Similar seating, food, competition, etc, but with amazingly talented pirates who fight, tumble, climb, swing, dive, you name it. I tried to eat without looking at my food because I didn't want to miss anything. Speaking of food, it was pretty darn good, especially when you consider they are feeding hundreds of people at the same time. It comes piece meal (so to speak) - soup, biscuit (and a darn good one), fried chicken breast (also very good), a half baked potato, ham, corn on the cob and an apple turnover. Good sweet tea too. Not fancy, but all delicious and hot or warm. I ate every bite. Obviously you come for the show and not the food, but we weren't disappointed in anything. Highly recommend the Pirate Voyage show. Very entertaining no matter the age.

The show is just super with lots of acrobatics. The chicken was excellent (& the ham was very good also). The only downside is that it is hard to eat because the show is so good. I hated to look down to eat because I would miss some of the show. Well worth it.
