"Love coming back every year!"

My family has been vacationing at Kingston Condos for many years, and it never fails to exceed our expectations. We stay in the condos, which are so perfect for families. They offer spacious living areas, fully equipped kitchens, and the convenience of a washer and dryer makes them ideal for extended stays. The beautifully maintained grounds by the condos strike the perfect balance between the charm of a country club and the convenience of being just steps from the beach. One of our favorite spots is the oceanfront pool. The pool always has fresh towels available, the occasional live DJs add a fun vibe, and the option to order food poolside is a fantastic perk. The pool area also has hammocks and fire pits which are great to sit by at night. For dinner, we love dining at the Black Drum, located right behind the pool. The combination of stunning ocean views, a good breeze, and the convenience of staying on the property (without dealing with Myrtle Beach traffic!) is such a nice option. The standout feature of Kingston is its exceptional amenities which truly live up to the standards of a high-end destination. The workout facilities, indoor pool, and locker rooms are state of the art and also impeccably maintained. You can sign up for fitness classes at the health club, play tennis or pickleball, and get a spa treatment at the on-site spa. A special shoutout goes to Daniel Zanfardino, who manages the health club facilities. He is approachable, responsive, and professional. I know he ensures that everything operates seamlessly with the facilities but he also consistently has gone above and beyond whenever I’ve had questions or needed assistance. Kingston Condos has been a perfect vacation destination for our family over the years. With all the great amenities and a prime location right next to the beach it really offers a seamless escape. Highly recommend!

"South Hampton dirty, no cleaning or maintenance"
TripAdvisor user rating 2.0 out of 5

I stayed in a "guest room" in the South Hampton building after being told it is "basically a hotel room" and managed by the Embassy Suites next door. Upon arrival the floor was not clean, I called the housekeeping number on the phone and was assured someone would come up. There were also only 2 bath towels, one hand towel, 2 pillows for a room that sleeps 4. Housekeeping never came but it was late in the evening and I assumed someone would come the next day. I called the housekeeping number daily for the entire week and no one ever came. The front desk would not hand over towels/toiletries either. At one point I begged for at least a broom to sweep my own floor and was told they could not provide that. I ended up purchasing my own supplies at Walmart. At one point I laid down on the bed and the headboard fell on me! When I got up and looked, both beds had their headboards simply leaned against the wall and not bolted to the bed or the wall. I was not seriously hurt but someone could have been. The front desk told me they could not control the furniture because it's not owned/maintained by the hotel. I was moved to a new room but was not offered anything for the inconvenience of having to pack all my things. Not even a drink coupon or a few honors points? The second room I was moved to had a gap under the door to the adjoining room wide enough to reach your hand through, and a noisy family next door. I put a towel under the door to try to block some noise, as it was late and I didn't want to move again, and someone on the other side pulled it through! The pool and beach are nice, and the Black drum restaurant was good but the pool/lobby bathrooms were consistently dirty and had several sinks/toilets out of order. I stay in Hilton properties all over the world and this is the worst I have stayed at. These condos shouldn't be rented under the Hilton/Embassy brand if they're not kept up to a reasonable standard. If you stay here be prepared to provide your own toiletries, towels, pillows/blankets, coffee, and cleaning supplies. It is not a hotel experience, despite the QR code in the room asking you to tip the housekeeper!

"Kingston Plantation - Myrtle Beach"

We have been going to Kingston Plantation for 25 years. We started out staying at the Embassy Suites. Once we had children we started staying at the Kingston Plantation Condos. One of the things we love about Kingston is the location. It feels very private and safe, but once you leave the gate at Kingston you are close to everything. Great food, entertainment and shopping. They never stop making improvements to the facilities. The new pool area they opened a couple of years ago is as nice as anywhere I have ever been. We have always been treated great at Kingston. From the security guard at the gate, to the front desk staff, to the service staff. The few times we have had an issue with anything. I was able to talk to the front desk manager Drew Morgan who has always taken great care of us. I do a lot of traveling with my job. Believe me. It's not like this everywhere. I have always been made to feel special for being a Diamond Hilton Honors member. We could go anywhere for vacation but choose to go to Kingston Plantation a couple of times a year.

My family and I stayed at the Kingston Plantation for one night. I believe we were in the South Tower. It was most likely the oldest of the options on the resort. The room did not look like the pictures on the website. I will say it was VERY dated but it was clean, apart from one of the blankets on the bed having stains. If you’re ok with dated (including hardly any outlets), then it’s fine. The amenities are nice though. I wasn’t sure if we had access to the larger pool and the kids waterslides but we did. Overall it was ok but I wouldn’t stay there again.
