Mayor Bill was our driver all week for the shuttle. He was absolutely fantastic. He gave us so much information.I hope he is still working the next visit we have at the resort area. I highly recommend the shuttle service.

Recently was at kingston for family vacation. We have been coming for years. One thing is for sure, we will never come again. From the inflated pricing and the shrikflation style changes made since our last visit, to the utter inconceivable policies and lack of upkeep to existing facilities; it is no longer a location I can choose for our only vacation we have a year. From trashy condos to poorly maintained facilities, kingston has gone down hill. I guess they blew all the money on the pool. -Wife and daughter were injured falling due to heaving sidewalks. -Roaches all in our room, to which they replied it is what it is, we can't stop it. -Out of control, drunken guests starting fights at the kids pool (the hotel took no action) -many slides out of commission -lifeguards just chilling on their phones, not caring -100% unresponsive customer service from the hotel or Hilton Worldwide. I don't know about you but my family doesn't have tons and tons of money, we take one vacation a year. This was our place. The only vacation spot my kids have known. We had many good memories in the past, but thats all they are. Memories or a time before this resort stopped caring. Just go somewhere else. Kingston Plantation is trash. Complained to the front desk, Hilton and in the post visit review request the resort sent me. Never was there any response or attempt to resolve anything. It was a 10 day vacation, we left after the 4th day. Oh and we ate the cost of the remaining 6 days, they didn't care a lick.

Bugs, mold, trash and just unkept! We stayed at Windemere by the Sea, Unit 6E. The unit is old and shows wear in all the rooms. Carpeting was stained, layers of dust on the ceiling fans and in the corners of the rooms. Window sills were dirty, showers had mold and stains! On the last night, we were greeted by 2 large bugs that crawled out from behind furniture and in the master bath. I call them roaches, but we were told they are common in this area. But totally unacceptable for me! My daughter didn't sleep that night! The only reason I gave 2 stars is that the location was good - walking distance to the beach and the pool was great. Would not recommend this unit!!

N. Myrtle resort with multiple oceanfront pools! Booked a 2 BR on the Hilton site last minute and got a 2nd floor unit in the South Hampton tower with an ocean view. We enjoyed the beach, walking to the top-notch gym (w/saunas and jacuzzis in the locker rooms), Starbucks at the cafe, lunch and frozen drinks from Black Drum but most especially the waterslide and dump bucket at the waterpark. Check in after midnight was a breeze at the nearby Embassy desk and the staffer was really helpful. Parking in the lot out front was no problem ($20 fee.) Kingston is a lot nicer than I was expecting, pretty grounds with mature plantings, next time I might book a unit in one of the leafy neighborhoods overlooking the lake. Halls/elevators/unit decor was elegant if slightly dated. Bring your own dishwashing liquid/sponge/paper towels, they were not provided.

We stayed in the Margate 23 floor. Stunning view! Beautiful residence. The master king bed was extremely hard. It could use a mattress foam topper. I would recommend it needing some attention to detail & more of a deep clean. It was very dusty in areas. The shower had a mound of hair on top of the drain. Stainless steel appliances were filthy. Probably not the owners fault, more the cleaning company not doing a thorough job! It wouldn’t be a dealbreaker, although should be addressed.
