"Good comedy; I didn't like the music."

Someone I know recently said no one with a baseball cap on backward can sing country music. Based on what I saw here he is correct. Some of the accompanying music (brass) was canned, which in my opinion is a no-no, especially Branson. Having said that, I wish the guitar player and drummer had been canned - maybe then they could have been turned down a little. This drummer may be the worst I've heard - not because of lack of talent but because he dominated the stage rather the accompanying the singers. The guitar player seemed to be at maximum volume all the time as if he were trying to compete with the drummer. The result was four guys singing who got red in the face trying to make themselves heard above the cacophony. Much was made of how the bass singer was in the Guiness Book as the lowest ever. He is low, just not pleasant to listen to. As a soloist he makes a good back-up singer. As a connoisseur of bass singing, I wouldn't put him in my top 25. This theater was less than half full on a Saturday night which indicates other people may be turned off as well. I wish I had saved my money - there are too many other good shows in town.

I did the Decades and Pierce Arrow gold shows. They are both really good and highly recommend going to one or both. The music and vocals are top notch and probably the best around. They also have a comedian that is really good at his job. One of the best. Everyone will find something to enjoy. And if you see one you can see the other for half price.

We saw Pierce Arrow Decades show - it was pretty good - lots of good music from the 60’s - 80’s (maybe 90’s) but most was old school stuff. We like their singing and energy. The comedian was funny. You’ll be laughing for sure. It was a small venue of people on a Monday night but they perform as if there was a full house. I would go again - we had fun.
