"Check your bill before paying the fees at check in!!!"

Great location but that is the only positive. Check in experience was awful, completely disinterested staff who talked to each other whilst ignoring us, no explanation about the facilities or where our room was located etc, I was told the money paid was a “deposit” and would be refunded upon checkout, 3 weeks later and despite chasing this has not been done. Finally the hotel have emailed me a receipt referring to this is a “facilities fee” I would not have agreed to this at check in if I had been told. A fee for the worst internet I’ve ever had in a hotel is a joke, our rooms were not even cleaned nor clean towels provided until day 3 of our stay, there were no other facilities to speak of!! The hotel was undergoing extensive building work that meant we were unable to even use our rooms during the day due to the noise.

I stayed one night on February 19 and experienced multiple service failures. At check-in, the interaction was not courteous and no explanation was provided for internet access. The internet system is not intuitive, and we were repeatedly unable to connect. When my daughter called for assistance, she was treated rudely. A later representative apologized and waived the $40 facility fee. That evening, a child in a nearby room cried beginning around 11:00 PM. I chose not to complain. However, our room phone rang repeatedly around 11:30 PM and again around 12:15 AM (approximately 15 times). When I answered, the caller asked if I could hear the child crying. The repeated calls woke my teenage daughter. The crying resumed at 6:00 AM and continued until about 7:30 AM. Moving rooms at that hour was offered but not practical. Before leaving for the airport, I discovered there was no hot water. Maintenance arrived approximately 30 minutes later, but I had to leave without showering. Management ultimately provided a partial refund after I escalated the matter, which I appreciate. However, the stay itself fell below reasonable expectations in several key areas.

Ravquel at the front desk was absolutely amazing. A snowstorm caused our flight to be cancelled for several days, and we were feeling quite stressed, but she took care of everything with such kindness and professionalism. It truly felt like the best service I received during my whole two‑week stay in New York. The rest of the staff were also friendly and very professional. The location is perfect, just a short walk from Times Square. I warmly recommend this hotel ❤️

The location is perfect and very central to Time Square. Which is one of the main reasons I selected this hotel for our family holiday. However the accomodation it's self is a different matter, deppeing ion the room type you selcet. The standard room, which I selected for our family trip was very dated in its deco, with parts of the wall paper coming off ,the plug for the bath didn't fit properly, so the water would often drain away whilst trying to have a bath The breakfast, again is poor considering what you pay per person, as all you get is a pastry, drink and a bit of fruit. For such a busy hotel and the center of New York and for the cost you would expect better. Also be aware of the hotel taxes , and check before you book, Otherwise you will be hit with a larger bill than you have planned for.
