On a 38-acre tropical paradise, the Miami Seaquarium is where conservation and education go hand in hand, sea lions delight children of all ages, and endangered sea turtles and manatees find a safe haven. Enjoy a world-class marine-life entertainment park with a variety of fun things to do in Miami, South Florida. From eight different marine animal shows, astonishing daily presentations, and a variety of educational tidbits along the way, Miami Seaquarium is a place of inspiration, education, and fun!

Miami Seaquarium tickets include all-day access to a fun-filled day of marine-life shows and exhibits on 38 beautiful acres overlooking the Miami skyline.

Dolphin Odyssey: You’ll have the opportunity to kiss, hug, and dance with one of these amazing mammals. Hold on tight! You’ll swim into deeper water for an amazing dorsal pull across the pool! Must be 52” or taller. 14 people max per session.

Dolphin Encounter: This shallow-water dolphin experience includes many of the behaviors in an Odyssey. You’ll get to touch and kiss and even feed your dolphin, but there is no swimming (except by our dolphins and they’re pretty good!). 28 people max per session.

Royal Swim: Experience the ultimate thrill with our Royal Swim! Get face-to-face with two playful dolphins and enjoy an exhilarating ride alongside your new friends. This unforgettable adventure is designed to exceed all your expectations and create memories that will last a lifetime.

Penguin Encounter: Experience two unique ways to meet our charming penguins! Step into their habitat for an up-close, non-tactile interaction as they freely explore, with our host sharing fun facts and a photographer capturing special moments. Then, enjoy a meet and greet outside the habitat, where you can pose for a photo with a penguin.

Shark & Ray Interaction: Come face-to-fin with both our nurse sharks and cownose stingrays in a natural mangrove habitat overlooking Biscayne Bay. You will assist in target training and feeding our nurse sharks, as well as wading into an unforgettable experience as they meet gentle cownose stingrays.

"Not worth the price. Very disappointing"

Very disappointing experience – not worth the price We visited Miami Seaquarium with high expectations, but unfortunately the experience was extremely disappointing. We paid for two adult tickets and one child ticket, and the cost was simply not justified. The dolphin and sea lion shows were very short and not engaging, and there were very few animals to see overall. By 1:00 p.m. (only two hours after arriving) we had already decided to leave, feeling frustrated and misled. The facilities look outdated and poorly maintained, and the overall value of the visit is far below what is advertised. We felt that we wasted both our time and money. I would not recommend this place, especially for families visiting Miami. There are much better attractions in the city that truly deliver on their promise.

"Bad aquarium,weird people"

A Murky Experience with a Side of Human Oddities I had high hopes for a tranquil afternoon of gazing at sea life, but this place was less a sanctuary and more of a fever dream. From the moment I stepped inside, the air hung heavy with the smell of wet cement and forgotten fish. The "exhibits" were a true testament to neglect. The tanks were so small and the water so murky, you had to press your face against the grimy glass to even make out the sad, listless fish inside. I'm pretty sure a few of them were just trying to avoid eye contact. The signs were faded and peeling, offering vague, unhelpful descriptions like "A Type of Fish." It was less a learning experience and more a guessing game of aquatic taxonomy. But the fish weren't even the weirdest part of the show. One man was having a full, one-sided conversation with a grouper, seemingly getting into a heated debate about the merits of gravel. In the next room, a couple was having a screaming match so loud I half-expected the glass to shatter. And a woman in a trench coat was just staring, unblinking, at a tank of jellyfish for a solid ten minutes without moving. It felt less like an aquarium and more like a human behavioral exhibit. The whole experience was deeply unsettling and profoundly disappointing. Save your money and just watch a documentary. It's cleaner, more educational, and you won't have to witness a person arguing with a fish.

"Miami Seaquarium with 2 Young Kids"

I visited the Seaquarium on Friday, August 8, 2025 with my wife and two kids. The last time I was at the Seaquarium was probably about 40 years ago. Honestly I can say it looks like the facility has not been updated in that time either. It was very aged. The dolphin and sea lion shows & penguin parades were the highlights. There were a few other exhibits like the shark and sting ray touch tanks which the kids enjoyed but really not much else. Food expensive. You could see everything in about 5 hours.

Amazing experience! A special thank you to Kourtney she was incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to educate us on many facts about dolphins, she made the experience far more memorable and special and we will definitely be back for another incredible visit. We sure appreciated the incredible staff, many other parks have not had such informative and kind staff in other experiences, this place was definitely above the rest. Thank you Miami Seaquarium from Leanne and Michael.
