While enjoying a hearty four-course medieval-style feast (served without silverware), guests watch six brave knights compete in skillful games atop magnificent Andalusian stallions. Lances clash against steel shields, swords spark in combat, and a champion is crowned amid cheers from the crowd.

The experience takes place nightly inside a fully enclosed, authentic European-style castle.

The Feast:
The menu at Medieval Times Chicago consists of garlic bread, tomato bisque soup, roasted chicken, sweet-buttered corn, herb-basted potatoes, the dessert of the Castle, coffee, and two rounds of select beverages. A vegetarian meal is available upon request.

Vegetarian/Vegan/Gluten-Free Meals:
The vegan meal includes a generous serving of hummus with carrot and celery sticks, a main course featuring three-bean stew with fire-roasted tomato and brown rice, and a choice of fresh fruit or Italian ice for dessert.

The vegetarian option includes all of these vegan dishes along with a side of warm pita bread.

Gluten-free meals available upon request include tomato bisque soup, hummus, carrot, and celery sticks, as well as the main course of roasted chicken, sweet-buttered corn, and herb-basted potato. You receive your choice of fresh fruit or Italian ice for dessert.

In addition, cocktail servers will be making the rounds and are happy to deliver a variety of spirits from the bar that you request for an additional fee.

Super fun family experience! The dancing horses and the battles were our favorite. The show entertained all of our children - ages 16 down to 7. The meal was okay (be prepared to eat with your hands). The portion size was huge! We ended up with 3 full to-go boxes. The service was friendly and everyone stayed in character throughout the entire 2 hours. The bathrooms could have been cleaner as well as the floors around the table area however it’s dark throughout the entire performance so it’s hard to tell.

We LOVED this experience! It was great for all ages. We were a group of 11 ages 2 - 71, and all of us had fun. I'll admit I get way more into it then I probably should, but got us all cheering. We were Red and Yellow, and although our knight didn't win 😞 we still had a great time. My nieces were gifted carnations and my daughter got queen of the tournament. The show itself is amazing, but the food speaks for itself. It may be a tad messy but the soup and chicken and corn... so many things tasted so good! They even give you boxes to take the extra home. At the end you can meet your knight and the kids had a blast. Since we're local we will be going back... this time hopefully for victory!

We have been a few times, knew what to expect. However, this time the sound was bad. So loud couldn't understand all of the story. Not sure if it was the volumn or sound system that made it hard to understand. Also the nice thrones and seats that you used to be able to take pictures in have no been converted to a "knighting" experience that costs $$. Do your knighting but leave something that families can do with no cost. Those pics were nice memories, no you have to pay for it, along with the regular photos and now "knighting" pics. The framed pics are now sold AT dinner, very difficult to hear the sales person and see the pics in the dark. I wasn't chancing it on a bad pic. Food was great as usual though! Soup and eclaires especially!!

I took my daughter and Grandaughter for a night out and we had a great time! All the staff were courteous and accommodating. I had the Vegetarian option (main course a stew) and it was very good. Unfortunately they do not have a children’s menu, so my grand daughter didn’t eat much. We went to the 4pm show and for a matinee, it was wonderful. My grand daughter talked about it for days afterwards.
