My stay was in the cottages may 30th - June 9th. Let me start by saying I have previously stayed in the hotel at this location and had a great experience, but as for the cottages I would never go back. First, the cottages are more like an air BNB, there are no services provided (ie, cleaning, new towels/linens) and this was not explained upon booking. they also do not leave you anything to clean with so if you want to have your unit cleaned there is an extra fee for it..... floors were not cleaned properly upon arrival; our feet were black at the end of the day. furniture was stained and dirty, table chairs had no cushioning left, almost felt like you were going to fall thru them. Had issues with the heat in our spa and it took an entire day and 4 phone calls (with an attitude from the service line (Tori)) to finally have a service technician come on site to turn it on in a matter of minutes. Remotes for TV's were missing batteries, called twice for batteries and did not receive them, finally went out to purchase my own and still had issues with the remotes and TV's. no rear door lock code was given and learned the hard way that the lock will auto lock occasionally, so you better have your front door key so you can walk around the house to get in. So disappointed in Margaritaville for providing such a poor experience. Overall, for the money spent I would not go back or recommend the cottages.......

Our experience from booking to check out was exceptional. I had an issue with my wristband and they handled it quickly and efficiently. I couldn’t have been more impressed. Mauricio was our server at our cabana and he was exceptional!! I cannot say enough good things about him! We had breakfast onsite every morning and drinks 3 of the 4 nights we were there and it was amazing! Totally recommend. Overall amazing experience! Oh and the music was on point the whole time!!

"Unsanitary Room Conditions That Were Never Addressed"

For the 2nd year in a row, my son's Cheer team chose this hotel for the Worlds Cheer event. Shortly after check-in, my son contacted the front desk as the shower leaked onto the bathroom floor and the tile was coming up. They sent someone up to the room, but nothing was done about it to resolve the situation and he and his teammates were left to stay in an unsanitary room. As they navigated the tile movement, they found black substance under the tile that reinforced that the problem had been in existence for a while. I made multiple attempts to contact management at the hotel following his stay with no returned phone calls. This of course required countless hours on hold listening to their recording that "customer satisfaction" was their top priority. We have stayed at numerous hotels over the years, and this property will go down as the worst at providing service for an issue during and following the stay! Would highly recommend finding a different property for those visiting Orlando!

While it is a beautiful property, do be aware that shower floor is very slippery also I upgraded to a premium room which in the photos showed a corner balcony. We did not get a corner balcony - in fact there was nothing special about the room at all. While I didn't see any other rooms, It simply didn't feel like I got an upgrade, when I asked about it I was told the room was bigger ? It had a chaise lounge but that was it besides the bed. Great entertainment in the area with restaurants and bars
