Description

Fun Spot America Kissimmee brings high-energy fun and nostalgic charm to the heart of Central Florida. Located minutes from Orlando, this family-owned theme park packs in big thrills without the long lines or high prices of larger parks.

Up and Overboard (temporarily closed) takes you 60 feet into the air on a massive inverted pendulum that swings and spins in full 360-degree motion. At night, the ride lights up the sky with vivid colors, making it a can't-miss experience during spring and summer visits.

Use your all-day wristband to race on multi-level go-karts, ride the Mine Blower wooden coaster, and explore over 20 rides and attractions for kids and adults. Younger visitors can enjoy the Sea Serpent and Fun Slide, while thrill-seekers tackle the Screamer and the SkyCoaster (not included with the ticket).

Tickets are valid only at Fun Spot America Kissimmee, located at 2850 Florida Plaza Blvd. Wristbands do not include SkyCoaster flights, arcade games, or vendor-operated attractions. Free admission and parking make it easy to stop in and stay as long as you like.

We took our grandchildren and 10 yo nephew here for a fun afternoon. The pricing is a little confusing. Everyone pays the same rate, which on the Wednesday we went was $69/person. However, there was a special for Florida residents that was $39.95. They also offer a “chaperone” wristband if you are only going to ride with a little kid, which was really perfect for us. If you aren’t going on any rides you don’t need to pay at all. If you only want to go on one ride you can put money on a card and pay for each ride ($7). We were there on a Wednesday, and the park only opens at 2 p.m. that day. Also, five of the rides are in Old Town and they don’t open until 6 p.m. This included the Carousel and the Tilt-a-Whirl, read the website carefully, its all in there. Also, parking is free. We had a great time. It wasn’t crowded and the kids didn’t have to wait in lines for their ride. One granddaughter didn’t like the ride and wanted to get off and they stopped the ride for her and let her off which I thought went above and beyond. It seems like Orlando was built to suck money out of your wallet. You get a lot of value for your money here. This was one bright spot. It was clean, plenty of benches to sit on and we felt safe the whole time. Definitely coming back.

This park has 2 memorable things: 1) Mindblower is a good coaster, but after a couple of rides on it, you realize that it's a pretty rough coaster. 2) Pay the small extra and do the Skycoaster. It's a 300 ft. pendulum drop. Incredible! However, with the exception of these two rides, this park is pretty average. It's a good afternoon detour, but don't expect to stay that long.
