Kings Mills Antique Autos - New in 2019
Kings Island's most beloved attraction, the antique cars ride, is located in Coney Mall, across from the Juke Box Café and alongside The Racer roller coaster. In the new Kings Mills Antique Autos family ride, guests will board replica classic touring cars and take a leisurely, drive around a scenic quarter-mile track equipped with a small rail to keep the car on the path. The ride will be comparable to the original Les Taxis antique car ride, combining nostalgia with new enhancements. The cars are 2/3 scale replicas of the 1911 Ford Model T; though all-new, they retain the vintage feel of the original Les Taxis.

I purchased two tickets for my son and me for a fun filled day at Kings Island Amusement Park. The tickets were amazingly priced and the site was so easy to use. This was my first experience using Tripster, and I can tell you....I loved it! I am hooked!! As a 30 year flight attendant that travels all over, this will be my go to site for tickets all over. Thank you Tripster and Kings Island for a great experience.

"End of summer trip"
August 2019 NEW
I purchased Kings Island tickets through Tripster and got a great deal. Took our two boys for an end of summer adventure and had a great time. Lines for rides were very short if there was a line at all since some area schools had started back already. We will do it again next year...the boys have already asked!

"Great staff at a fun theme park!"

We have the Cedar Fair Platinum Pass, so we’ve been checking out a few of their parks this year. Kings Island didn’t disappoint! The Beast wooden roller coaster was amazing at over 4 minutes long. It was fun reading about it’s history while in line. And Mystic Timbers was great! Good theming & really fast! We found Diamondback to be a bit overrated- the others were much better to us. We enjoyed the jokes & staff interaction! All of the employees seemed to really enjoy their jobs & getting the crowd hyped up! This was new to us & we enjoyed listening to them! We were surprised that the park is already closed during the week. It’s still the peak of summer! We had to re-jig our whole trip because we had originally planned to go to KI today (Monday Aug 19), but thankfully I checked the park hours a week ago & learned that they were already closing except for the weekends. It seemed really busy to us, but the locals said that it was pretty quiet. I would hate to see it busy! The Eiffel Tower is fun to go up as well! And we loved Boo Blasters too! We always love a good dark ride! One other critique- a lot of the food closes at 30-60min before the park closes. We had planned to grab a bite just before closing & eat it to while the crowds dissipated. It wasn’t to be! We will come back someday if we are in the area for sure! A ride on The Beast is worth the 8 hr drive!!

"Review of Soak City Waterpark"

First of all, we are season pass holders and visit the park often. We love the rides. We don’t often go to the waterpark, and every time we do I swear I won’t again. Our most recent experience at the waterpark was typical and shows the ongoing problems Cedar Fair or Kings Island management just don’t care to fix. The slides: fun, good variety. For the ones requiring a tube, one must wait in line to get a tube from someone coming off the slides and then wait again for the slide. How hard or expensive would it be to have more tubes? Not very, it would seem to me given the obvious haul they’re making on the over-priced food and long lines of people for everything. The wave pools: crowded with insufficient shade and hardly any tubes available but overall a lot of fun. The food: Kings Island as an amusement park has the worst food, food selection and value for the money of any park we’ve visited throughout the country. Soak City is the worst section of the park for this. Two restaurants+thousands of visitors=long (very long) lines, one of which is in direct sun. For the price of a large pizza outside the park you get two pieces of pizza. The Coke drink location with the roof was closed, so just to get a drink was a 20-minute wait in direct sun. And no outside food allowed. This is the worst part, given that Kings Island just can’t figure out the food situation themselves. Some other parks that have better food selections and food value do allow outside food, so the way KI handles this is just greedy. The restrooms and changing areas: the worst. The ones at the main entrance are crowded and wet. No dry places to change. The floor is always flooded in the “dry” changing area. Not enough toilets. The other option is near the smaller wave pool. There are 10 outdoor changing stalls, which are still dirty but aren’t as wet. Yes 10 for thousands of people. You have to wait for these. So basically no clean, dry place to change and a long wait for gross changing facilities and toilets. Also, there’s no restroom near the large wave pool. In summary I hate the waterpark. But I always go back because the kids (and me too, honestly) love the wave pool and slides. And KI will continue to get our money...but why can’t they just invest a little money to make the waterpark facilities clean, more abundant, comfortable and better maintained?

We got the lowest price on tickets for the season, so that was affordable. The cost for parking is too much and the cost for food is outrageous! The Festhaus was filthy the entire day - it was nasty! They need to add more umbrella tables for people to sit at Soak City. Beside those complaints - I still really enjoy going to this amusement park! My family and I hadn't been there for five years, so we were eager to visit! Our kids are now old enough to ride all the coasters - yay! My husband and I tell our children the history of the park as we walk around, because it opened the year we were born. We remember when Paramount nearly destroyed it and thankfully Cedar Fair revived it! Once again it is nicely maintained and landscaped and very family friendly. Who doesn't love Snoopy?
