This tour is your window into life under the sea! Ride out to the coral reef aboard a 65-foot catamaran to view marine life through the boat’s viewing hulls. See colorful tropical fish, sea turtles, species of coral, and more. Your captain and crew will detail what you’re seeing and share stories of the reef – all while you’re lounging in an air-conditioned cabin.

  • The boat has two types of seating areas, the enclosed air-conditioned cabin viewing area, and the upper deck.

  • Tour duration is approximately 2 hours.

A wide variety of fish and other sea creatures await you as you gaze into the underwater world of Key West. Along the way, your experienced captain and crew will provide a unique and informative eco-tour and point out some of the most interesting marine life that inhabits the waters that surround this incredible island.

How big is the boat?

Fury Water Adventures' Glass Bottom Boat is a 65-foot catamaran, air-conditioned, enclosed, with a shaded viewing cabin, snack bar, sundeck, and 2 restrooms.

Is food or drinks provided on the boat?

Drinks and snacks are available for purchase for the duration of the tour. Sodas are $2 and a selection of chips, peanuts, crackers, and cookies for $1. Water is free. You are more than welcome to bring lunch and snacks just no glass containers, please.

Are there places to get out of the sun?

The Glass Bottom Boat has a spacious, air-conditioned viewing cabin that can accommodate many guests.

How far out do we go?

It is 7 miles to the reef.

How long does the ride to the reef take?

The ride to the coral reef takes approximately 30 minutes. Total tour duration is 2 hours. Please be at the departure location 30 minutes prior to your tour time for check in.

Is the boat narrated by a crew member?

Yes, knowledgeable crew members will share some historical Key West facts while going through the harbor, and a full guided tour while at the reef pointing out many corals and marine life.

Is the glass bottom boat suitable for kids?

Yes, the Glass Bottom Boat is great for all ages.

Are strollers allowed?

No, the coast guard won’t allow it. Fury Water Adventures will hold them on the dock until trip returns.

Is the glass bottom boat wheelchair accessible?

Manual wheelchairs allowed, 2 per trip (electric wheelchairs not allowed.) Fury has one manual wheelchair that is available for guests to use. Guests must have assistance that can help move them safely to the manual chair.

What should I bring?

Camera, cash for gratuities and a refillable (not glass!) water bottle. Please also bring a valid Government Issued Photo ID.

Where does the trip depart from?

The tour departs from 2 Duval Street, located between Ocean Key Resort & Pier House Resort, at the end of Duval Street.

Is parking provided?

No, parking is not provided. However, there are street parking, pay to park lots, and parking garages nearby.

Are life jackets provided?

Life jackets are onboard for everyone in case of emergency.

Are pets allowed?

Fury allows service animals only. A service animal is any dog that has been trained to perform tasks to benefit an individual. The work performed must be directly related to the individual's disability. According to the ADA service animals for emotional support, therapy, comfort, or companionship are not considered service animals. The guest requiring the service animal must be in possession of the animal at all times.
