Hotel Boutique at Grand Central in New York, NY

The BIG issue is that the hotel takes a $100 dollar deposit: and after 5 days, it has NOT been returned. My room was noisy. Don't expect any usable food or drink facilities in your room. Their approach seems to be 'light touch' ie less staff

Overall this is a solid hotel. I’ve found that in New York, when a hotel is more affordable it’s usually substantially lower quality. Fortunately this Club Quarters property is more affordable than many other options while still providing a reliable, standard hotel experience. The rooms are quite small, as many Club Quarters are, but I was traveling solo so this wasn’t an issue. Other positives were that the room was clean and the front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately I arrived later in the evening and the only room left was right across from the elevator, which was pretty noisy. But I would guess that in general the rooms are quieter. My main complaint is that the bed was pretty uncomfortable. The mattress was lumpy and sagging in some places, and the under sheet wasn’t quite long enough to wrap around the mattress so when I’d wake up the mattress itself would be exposed, which was kind of gross. Getting sheets that actually fit the bed seems like a relatively easy thing for a hotel to do. And definitely think it’s time for the hotel to replace their mattresses. Aside from that issue, I’d likely stay here again when traveling for work.

Great location, central to everything. Staff at Club Quarters are amazing and shout out to Marc Anthony for excellent customer service every time we stay at this property. Love the rooftop lounge with complementary coffe,tea and water. Always stay here when we come to the city.

We had the best experience! Everyone in the hotel is very helpful and kind; we do have to give a big thanks to Eli who was our first contact in the hotel and was so helpful assigning a great room to us! Specially as we were celebrating my daughter’s birthday . The accommodations were great, room was clean and with a lovely view. In the top floor they have a rooftop where you can get coffee and water and even work from there, outside some tables and sofas to just have breakfast with a view! Location is also very convenient would definitely head back there if in New York again! Eli once again thank you for being so wonderful and all the staff superb job!
