Great way to get the history of the city and transportation at the same time. However there are not enough buses running. You spend a great deal of time waiting to be picked up just to find the bus has no space. We ended up taking an Uber after buying a ticket, since the buses were full. Just be mindful of weekend crowds and plan the time to wait for second bus. Great history lesson.

Had a great time on our 2 hour bus tour. Linda was really informative and kept it fun. I highly recommend you do the tour on your first day there. It will help you see the whole area and you can decide what to do later.

The Hop-On Hop-Off double decker bus is an excellent way to get around and our guide Linda was excellent. She is extremely knowledgeable and fun to listen to. Our driver, Mixon, maneuvered the largest bus through heavy traffic and tight turns with ease. We opted for the three day bus which included walking tours of the french quarter and the garden district. It was like getting the tours for free and three days is still not enough to see everything. Our tour guide in the garden district was Paige who is very knowledgeable, informative and fun to listen to.

So glad we did this in New Orleans. I have both of my parents with me, so just staying inside the was great. we get to see the famous places and had a wonderful narrator too. Love it that there's a restroom stop in the middle, so we can go to the restroom and get some water. Then we just stepped off at the WWII Museum. Will do this again!

This is a great way to get to know about NO and it’s many neighborhoods & sights. We bought a 3 day pass. The first day we did the entire 18 stop circuit without getting off the bus, and learned about the things to do & see at the separate stops. It took 2 hours. We then got off at stop 1 and visited Jackson Square, the shops around it, and Cafe DuMonde The next day we stopped at 3 different stops to check them out . We will do the same tomorrow. This is routed transportation availability as well as a guided tours. There is a bus by every stop every 30 minutes until 5:30 pm.
