The European-style guest rooms showcase 18-foot ceilings and original brick walls. Each room is furnished with a work desk and safety deposit box. Private bathrooms feature marble floors and granite counters. Interior rooms, known as Tranquille rooms, include the signature decor and amenities but do not have windows.

Guests can dine at Ruby Slipper, open for breakfast and lunch. The restaurant serves traditional local cuisine in a casual setting.

This is the worse hotel I have ever stayed at. The front desk support does not exist - no help with luggage! Little knowledge of the area. No daily housekeeping. Dark room - very little light - what were they hiding?

Great little hotel. Keenya at the front desk really took care of us. Got us checked in early remembered our room request (4th floor) and the fact we were arriving first thing in the morning. Top tier customer service! The hotel and rooms theme are so cute and clean! As others have mentioned very comfortable beds I'll definitely be back

Very comfortable bed with both firm and soft pillows. Reading light, which is a rare amenity nowadays. The room is small, but the ceiling is high, so not claustrophobic. A short distance to Canal Street and street car, but side street cuts down on the noise. New windows help with soundproofing as well. Only real drawback was the shower took a l-o-n-g time to heat up. I had a lukewarm shower, and my husband got the warm to hot water. Lucky it was 90+ degrees outside, so a lukewarm shower wasn't bad. Maybe it was because it was midweek, and the hotel was quite empty.

The hotel is nicely located and moody. Loved the dark sofisticated cigar bar look. The ceilings are high, it's quiet, the bathrooms are a good size, plenty of space. I wish the room had a microwave but there was a fridge and good storage. Loved the touches with the old school radio playing when we got in the room and the staff is very friendly.
