This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. Location was perfect with plenty of food and all the excitement of the French Quarter nearby. Our room was pristine, with modern, clean amenities. We had a little courtyard next to our room and enjoyed a to-go order of coffee and beignets from Cafe du Monde. It was quiet too, which is hard to believe considering it's location on Decatur St. My wife is not easy to please and she already wants to book another trip and stay at the French Market Inn again. The staff was excellent, polite, friendly and helpful. Bellman helped my wife with her luggage as I was not there during check in to help. Front desk staff were all had positive energy as well. Simply a great experience and I know we will return, lots more to see and do in NOLA!

We stayed in an inside, windowless room but didn't miss the window. The room had good ventilation in the bathroom. The hotel is in a wonderful location for walking all over. The parking is pricey but is very easy and convenient-just across the street from the hotel. The housekeeping is very thorough and consistent. The front staff is friendly and helpful.

First time visiting knew Orleans, so wasn’t sure where to stay. Decided to try French Market Inn as it was close to a lot of the attractions we wanted to see. At first we drove past the Inn, but quickly found it and was greeted with friendly staff, there was a parking lot directly across from the Inn, $46/ night. After a quick check in we were escorted to our room, we walked through an outdoor courtyard to an elevator. Room was super clean and rustic. We stayed two nights and room service made the bed and fresh towels. Quiet, we chose an interior room with no windows. Definitely recommend and we will return here upon our next visit!

I have been coming to The French Market Inn for years. Over the past few years my son Paul has accompanied me. I (we) have ALWAYS found the service and the rooms to be excellent. This stay was no exception. From check in to check out, we were treated as family coming come. We stayed in room 255 which was absolutely beautiful. We want to personally thank Ms. Elysia Smith for her graciousness, kindness and professionalism, Paul and I THANK YOU SO MUCH. We also want to acknowledge the wonderful Front Desk personnel including Wayne, Ms Marlene, Ms D who were so caring and attentive to my son and I. We also thank the Bellmen who helped us in so many ways. You all made out stay there so memorable. For those viewers debating on making a reservation, I say to you, DO IT. Read my other reviews regarding the FMI. You are in the heart of The French Quarter. You are a 2-3 minute walk to Jackson Square. A 5 minute walk to Bourbon Street. You are close to all the action. PJs Coffee is next door, Johnny's poor boys in right around the corner as is The New Orleans Creole Cookery. Cafe Du Monde is a 4 minute walk. This boutique hotel is a hidden gem.
