The perfect hotel for views, size and location. Just steps away from Times Square, the Hilton, Times Square offers huge modern and clean rooms with an incredible city view-the iconic Empire State Building almost touchable!!! The whole experience was faultless-we spent 4 days here for both our anniversary and my husbands birthday. Marianne was a joy to deal with from start to finish and we wouldn’t hesitate to return or recommend. Thanks all. A trip we’ll never forget.

The room was spacious compared to other nyc hotels. The hotel convenience/ snack shop was expensive. I didn't use the bar or eat at the hotel so can't comment on those. The bathroom was looking tired with dark scratches on the bathtub and the inside of the toilet needed some bleach thrown down it!) One thing to be aware of though... I was asked if I would need a taxi to JFK airport and was advised that a yellow cab was more expensive on the way there (it's a flat fare if around $70 plus tolls to get from JFK to Manhattan) because the clock keeps going up, even when stationary at lights blah blah blah. So we were advised by the guy on reception to pre book it through them as it would be $110 all in including tip. So, on the day we travel back to JFK, the cab turns up over 30 minutes early... no problem really. But when we arrive at JFK, the driver was arguing that the tip was not included! So it ended up being $130!!! What an absolute rip off! I might as well have got a yellow cab, because I've since checked and it's the dame flat fare going from Manhattan too JFK. It seems to me that the staff on reception are in cahoots with these private cabs or the driver was a blatant liar... either way, one of them was a liar. I suppose it's just yet another element of being ripped off in New York.
