"Fun way to see the low country."

Fun guided kayak tour of Broad Creek with Mike as our guide. This was not my wife and my first paddle but we appreciated touring with our guide. We really enjoyed learning about the low country birds, dolphins, calms and more. Broad Creek was a fairly easy place to kayak even with the tide and a little wind. Mike lead us away from the current as best as possible. Nice kayaks and PFD's. We were able to easily book online the evening before our tour. Thanks for a very enjoyable and informative kayak trip.

"The kayaking itself was fun. Guide was great. Limited wildlife other than egrets."

The guide was great. He made a lot of Michigan jokes and kept us entertained both on and off the water. The kayaking was fun. Only wished there was more wildlife to see. We saw egrets and saw only one dolphin, at the dock before we got on the water.

Our experience with Kayak Hilton Head was great. My first interaction with them was for booking and Dave was so incredibly helpful and communicative. We had a special request and he went above and beyond to accommodate. We got very detailed communication and directions to get to them. We rented 4 single kayaks, they gave us directions and helped us in and out of the kayaks. Can't wait to go back!

This entire experience was fantastic! Mike was our guide and very knowledgeable and laid back, but all of the staff were great—especially the young gentlemen helping us get in and out of the kayaks! We saw dolphins and manatees up close to mark off a bucket list. I would highly recommend this adventure if you’re at HHI! Very affordable family outing! We did this with our 3 year old and 6 year old—they give them nets to catch grass shrimp!

"Take this kayaking trip!"

Going kayaking was the highlight of our vacation! We took the early morning trip and saw multiple dolphins- one even surfaced right behind me. I've never seen anything like it! Our guide was knowledgeable and we learned interesting information while enjoying the beautiful view. Near the end, my son and I were getting tired since this was our first time kayaking and we weren't efficient paddlers. The guide tethered us to the kayak and we made a train on the way back. I would say it was just the right distance where you had enough time to enjoy the trip, but not so far that you are too tired. If my family can go kayaking, yours can too!

"Kayak With the Dolphins!"
TripAdvisor user rating 5.0 out of 5
Reviewed July 14, 2024
My husband and I went on the 8:00 am Kayak with the Dolphins tour to celebrate our 37th wedding anniversary. We each had our own kayak. Several other kayakers were on our tour, too. Todd, our guide, was very knowledgeable and relaxed. He pointed out areas of interest and plant and animal life along the waterway. He knew where to watch for dolphins, and we saw several, stopping to watch them play and interact! We don't consider ourselves sporty people. We discovered rafting and kayaking several years ago and loved it! We've been kayaking on lakes, rivers, and now the coast. This was a calm, easy, and fun trip. We highly recommend it for beginners and scaredy cats! You'll love it!

First off, these guys were so great even before we got there. We had to reschedule because of a last minute work conflict. They couldn't have been more understanding. Joe was a great guide. He was friendly, knowledgable, and let the group set the pace. The tour wasn't too strenuous - just the right amount of feeling like you're exercising without pushing anyone too much. We saw birds, dolphins, and learned a little bit about the history of the island. We would definitely do it again.
