"Great job Sarika!!"

It was a busy place as we went during the peak lunch hours. As soon as we walked in, Sarika our waitress, welcomed us and greeted us. She was very kind to let us know it is very busy but she will do her best to take care of us. We kept checking on us frequently as we waited for our food. Great manners and hospitality by Sarika. She offered us complimentary drink since we were waiting. Not just us, I noticed Sarika was very efficiently managing all the customers in this very busy restaurant. Food was great as well. We will come back again.

We have stayed at this hotel twice, the first time last summer, right after Hilton acquired the property from Marriott. Hilton continues to upgrade the property, and the hotel is beautiful. The location is outstanding, right in the heart of the Palmetto Dunes area. I used messaging for service during our stay, and requests were promptly resolved. My favorite hotel features are the pool area, direct access to the beach, fitness center, and spa. Also, the food and beverage service and servers are excellent. We intend to frequent this location as we are only a few hours from it.

"Hilton Head resort, overall nice experience."

I wanted to give a fair review of pros and cons from our stay. Here it goes. Pros: *Location of the hotel was great, very close to the beach and walking paths. *Pool was clean and pool side service from Brie and Basel were exceptional. *Cabana rentals were fairly priced for a full day ($75). It comes with perks: pool side service, water and ice, cold fruit box, Nice cushioned lounging chairs. We rented a cabana two days in a row, glad we did because the pool area fills up around noon every day. I would recommend getting a cabana no later than 10 AM. Note: they serve alcohol after 11 am by the pool. Pool side food options are good. *Our room was quiet, we never heard noise of any kind outside. *We ordered room service twice, both times our food arrived quickly and we were met by a pleasant staff member. Cons: *The rooms are outdated, in need of a renovation for sure. *Our room ‘view’ was a complete joke (see photo). Thankfully we were not in our room most of the time. *The TV in our room never worked. *The A/C never kept up well with the warm temps outside. *We used car valet throughout our stay, the instructions when we wanted our car was to ‘call before we were ready to come downstairs’. More than half the time they never answered the phone. *The bathrooms, near the restaurant at the hotel stunk so bad, several other guests made comments as well. With most hotel stays, there is the good and the not so good. Thankfully, we had a fairly pleasant experience throughout our stay. I feel like if we return to Hilton Head, we would stay here again. We would just make sure we knew exactly where our room was going to be.

Our stay was incredible. The resort is right on the beach and there are tons of amenities, but above all else the staff is what made the experience so great. We rented bikes as a fun way to explore the area. There are bike paths all over the island so you can venture pretty far (though Sea Pines is off limits unless you have a car). Biking on the actual beach is also a very unique experience - we took some video then stuck to the pavement cause it's a heavy workout for your legs. We had dinner at the restaurant, Blue, every night of our trip. You'd think we'd get tired of the food, but the menu has a wide variety (from filet mignon to shrimp and grits to soup dumplings) and each dish is executed deliciously. The rooms were comfy and the bathrooms felt sleek. They put the shower handles on the wall opposite the shower head so someone was thinking through their design when they last updated these. We spent a lot of time trying out all their pools. They have hot tubs all over, and they have a small 13 foot pool right next to the 3-5 foot lounging pool. There's also an indoor pool, which was always nicely heated. If you reserve the gazebo you get a tray of fresh fruits and a mini fridge with fancy Icelandic waters. The people who work here really made our stay special though. Anais, Mandao, and the activities manager Matt went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We had great service from and conversations with Shlok, Suchit, Gladwyn, and Basel about life on the island - almost all of them had stories of gators around the town to share with us . We were well taken care of by David and Gagan at Blue, Marlene at the cafe, Erin from reservations, and so many others who we didn't catch their names.
