Description

from Duttons
As seen on NBC's hit series "America's Got Talent" and from their nationally broadcast television specials on PBS, this real family of singers, dancers and musicians is guaranteed to please all ages. With Mom on bass and Dad on guitar, the extraordinarily talented Dutton children weave their way through a two-hour masterpiece of musical surprises.

The Duttons are international touring and recording artists that play everything from bluegrass to classical in their shows, featuring a variety of instruments: violin, guitar, bass, viola, banjo, mandolin, keyboard, harmonica and drums among others. The Duttons have not only won recognition in national fiddling contests, and as studio musicians but have also garnered praise and awards in classical violin competitions.

The Duttons have toured the world over from the stages of Europe to the largest television network in China and received accolades with every performance. Says "All Roads Lead to Branson" magazine of this amazing family, "What's winning the fans is their talent, their polished professionalism and the sincere, friendly goodwill and camaraderie that's apparent to everyone who sees them."

"We LOVE the Dutton Show!"
October 2015
We visit Branson every year and we always see the Dutton Show! We love that it's a family oriented show that not only we can enjoy, but our grandkids as well. My granddaughter thinks Benjamin is the funniest ever! This year was my grandsons first time to the show and he kept tapping his feet and moving around and finally said "my feet just can't stop dancing!" We are all fans of the show and highly recommend it for all families. It's a "must See!"

Before the show, they played music videos to vote on. My husband and I arrived late, so did not see all of them. I was disappointed that we arrived late, because I did enjoy the videos that I saw. I don’t know why they did that, or for how long they will continue with the videos. During the show, they played videos, but they were disjointed. It was like watching home videos that were not well edited, and it was hard to follow what they were trying to demonstrate. The videos during the show were not appropriate for audiences, although photos and short clips – that make sense – could add interest to the show. They started with a segment of '50s/'60s songs: first a “girl group” and then teen boys; all the boys are future heartbreakers. Not to be outdone, their pretty teenage cousin/sister came out to demonstrate her dancing skills. They segued into country music, complete with the fiddles and clogging. One of the men is a top notch musician and he demonstrated by playing, in quick succession, banjo, fiddle, guitar, mandolin, piano (while kissing his wife), bass, and back to the banjo. Almost as good is when they play each other’s instruments: they hand off theirs to another member, and then pick up a different instrument and play. They need more practice because it was a little fumbly, but the talent is evident. An absolute highlight is when one of the ladies plays “Carmen” on the violin. Her mother (or grandmother; I couldn’t keep all the family members straight) explained that her music instructor claimed that a musician with her talent comes along only once every 20-30 years; I believe it. Overall, the comedy was weak, but I did enjoy the song about what NOT to say to your wife.

"Our Favorite Show in Branson"

This is the show we see every year in Branson. The second and third generations of the Dutton family provide the majority of the entertainment. Throughout the show each of the family members easily play all the different instruments while singing and dancing. The third generation "kids" are integrated into the show with ease. It is truly amazing how talented the entire Dutton family is. This year we saw the Christmas show - WONDERFUL!

The Dutton’s just keep getting better. We saw their show earlier this year and went to their Christmas show Saturday evening. This show has everything - singing, dancing, great music & comedy. Three generations of the Dutton’s, approximately 20 family members performing. Most of them play multiple instruments. A wide variety of music including Christmas. One of the best concession stands in Branson at Abbie’s Tourist Trap, $1 ice cream & $2 root beer floats.

Show had a good theme but performers did not do it justice. Show dragged. Song choice was excellent but we did not enjoy this show at all. Would definitely not recommend this show to anyone. My wife had to elbow me several times to keep me from dozing off

Such talented musicians...and singers...and dancers....! Great show and thoroughly enjoyed it.....ONCE AGAIN! (Took a motorcoach group to see them on Nov. 12.....we all loved 'em!)
