Tonight was to be a fun family experience that we talked and planned for for weeks. Imagine our dismay when we arrived at 6, only to be told they decided to close early at 7. We drove 2 hours to get there for less than an hour in the park. I will never be back.

"Losing its magic"

Dutch wonderland has always been great, been going on and off for the last 8 years…. But lately it seems to be lacking. Our last visit was ok, due to the weather the high dive shows were cancelled but no staff member or sign to let everyone know. The hours aren’t as good anymore, only open until 6pm, which means the preview is from 3-6pm, hard when visiting out of state to make those hours. Also the whole photo system changed, in my opinion terrible. They text you a code to go on line later to look at pics but if you wait a bit too long you lose the photos. Old way they just scanned your code and you could log in months later to retrieve them all in the same album.

"Disappointing Visit"

We traveled to PA to visit Hershey and Dutch Wonderland, and unfortunately were disappointed with Dutch Wonderland. Overall it felt very dated, had limited food options, and worst of all inefficient staff/stands/rides that caused long lines. Considering the park is catered to young children I feel it’s important to keep things moving as good as possible, but that was not the case. Many of the rides were also closed which was frustrating. Bathrooms did not appear or smell clean, especially important when changing toddlers. Prices from park entrance to parking to food were very high considering what you get for your money. Unfortunately we would visit Dutch Wonderland again based on our overall experience.

"Great time at Dutch Wonderland!"

First time visit with 5 and 6 year olds. Parking is easy, but expensive. I would walk over from your hotel if you're staying close enough! The park was very nice. The wait times were not more than 10 minutes for any ride. Helpful staff. No teenage shenanigans! Didn't do the Waterpark, but it looked like fun. Get tix online to avoid lines. Also, take advantage of the preview offer the night before your tix, if possible.
