Fun for the kids and very educational. Dinosaurs are life-size, which makes it very engaging and really impressed my nephew. The museum provides a lot of information that feeds a child’s curiosity about all things dinosaurs.

Description

from Dinosaur World Florida
Dinosaur World is Central Florida's only attraction dedicated to the giants of years past. The 20-acre theme park is conveniently located between Tampa and Orlando on Interstate 4 and a must see for families exploring the area. Spend your visit walking amongst some of the most feared predators ever to walk on the planet before heading off to explore the outdoor shows and entertainment including the Dino Disguise Show, Excavation Cave Experience, and the all-new Triviasaurus Rex Game Show.

Practice your skills as a paleontologist at the area’s largest Fossil Dig before you head over to the Boneyard Excavation to try your hand at uncovering a prehistoric skeleton sure to add a little roar to your day. And don’t miss Dino Gems Mining Operation where everyone uncovers a keepsake to treasure. The park also features a colossal skeletal playground for kids that’s large enough to contain even the loudest pitter-patter of little dinosaur feet.

"Family Fun Day"
January 2019
We had a Family fun day with a teenager and a 10-year-old. There was lots to see and do. Lots to explore. The staff was absolutely excellent and shared dinosaur facts while you were walking around and exploring. The scenery is absolutely beautiful while the kids were having fun, my husband and I enjoyed holding hands walking through the beautiful outdoor garden areas. The scenery and the creeks and yes the dinosaurs made it all a beautiful adventure. Lots of hands on activities that both the children really enjoyed

I find this to be a bit overpriced for what it is. Pleasant to walkthrough. Plenty of shade trees and such. Just a bit high in price.

This is a great place to spend about 4 hours if you do it all. Clean park, cute shows, great landscaping, nice people. It was some quieter fun educational time time with my wife and 10 year old. Lots of hands on activities. If you have 3-5 year old kids, they will absolutely love it no questions asked.

If you have a child that loves dinosaurs this might be an okay place to kill a few hours. It’s literally a lot of dinosaur statutes with informational plaques and a show or two. I thought it was overpriced, but I’m also not obsessed with dinosaurs. I also thought it was from the 1960s, but it was actually built in the late 90s, which makes the place less kitschy. Meh.

We have two kids of 4 and almost 7 and both loved the place. The park is very clean and the landscaping is well done. In fact I wish there be more plants and trees signage. The dinosaurs are well made and each one is good explained. Mike did an excellent job in the exploration cave and made the stones and fossils real for our kids. It's a great park, very much worth a visit if your kids are into dinosaurs
