Fun for the kids and very educational. Dinosaurs are life-size, which makes it very engaging and really impressed my nephew. The museum provides a lot of information that feeds a child’s curiosity about all things dinosaurs.

Description

from Dinosaur World Florida
Dinosaur World is Central Florida's only attraction dedicated to the giants of years past. The 20-acre theme park is conveniently located between Tampa and Orlando on Interstate 4 and a must see for families exploring the area. Spend your visit walking amongst some of the most feared predators ever to walk on the planet before heading off to explore the outdoor shows and entertainment including the Dino Disguise Show, Excavation Cave Experience, and the all-new Triviasaurus Rex Game Show.

Practice your skills as a paleontologist at the area’s largest Fossil Dig before you head over to the Boneyard Excavation to try your hand at uncovering a prehistoric skeleton sure to add a little roar to your day. And don’t miss Dino Gems Mining Operation where everyone uncovers a keepsake to treasure. The park also features a colossal skeletal playground for kids that’s large enough to contain even the loudest pitter-patter of little dinosaur feet.

"Family Fun Day"
January 2019
We had a Family fun day with a teenager and a 10-year-old. There was lots to see and do. Lots to explore. The staff was absolutely excellent and shared dinosaur facts while you were walking around and exploring. The scenery is absolutely beautiful while the kids were having fun, my husband and I enjoyed holding hands walking through the beautiful outdoor garden areas. The scenery and the creeks and yes the dinosaurs made it all a beautiful adventure. Lots of hands on activities that both the children really enjoyed

"Surprisingly Nice!!!"

We've been driving by this place for 20 years and always thought it was just some cheesy Florida roadside attraction so never bothered to stop. Boy were we wrong. Upon a suggestion from a friend we took our 3 & 5 yr old grandsons there and we pleasantly surprised at how nice it is. Beautifully landscaped and very clean it has 2 playgrounds, one for smaller kids and one for bigger kids. We did a fossil dig, which was included in the price of our general admission tickets and walked around the entire park on the lush boardwalks. We also packed a picnic lunch since there is NO FOOD SERVICE. We'd rather bring lunch than pay high prices for poor food anyway. Overall the boys had a good time. We spent about 2.5 hrs there which was the appropriate amount of time for our 2 little ones. It is also pet friendly

"Awesome place for a birthday party for 12yr olds and younger!"
TripAdvisor user rating 5 out of 5

So much fun!!! We had a birthday party for an 8-year-old and 10-year-old. We had 24 guests including 14 children and 10 adults. The children played and played on the playground for an hour. They loved the bone yard (uncovering fossils), the gem mining and the fossil dig. The excavation cave was super informative and entertaining for the kiddos. Thumbs up to all the paleontologists! The park was clean, spacious, well maintained, and the greenery lush. We had Nick’s pizza delivered for the party. The party pizzas were HUGE! 2 pizzas fed our party of 24 with a quarter of a pizza left over! We also brought in fruit and drinks (water and juice boxes) for the kids. A great afternoon!

My husband loves everything about dinosaurs and had been wanting to check this place out ever since we moved to Florida in December 2018. Well, a year later and we finally found our way to this place. The grounds are very well kept and the statues are entertaining. They also have a really interesting museum with extra information about the fossils. Overall, we probably will return. Also, active duty military get free admission year round and according to their website direct dependents get $1 off of general admission.

"Get your Dino-Rawwwrr On!!"

Our LO is 3 yrs old and loves everything dinosaurs. We were excited to find this gem during our travels to another resort. A short drive and we arrived to a beautifully clean and well-landscape park. The statutes are well-kept and entertaining. My LO enjoyed the fossil dig, bone dig, and toddler play area. There is also a bigger kids play area too! Some TA reviewers felt it was a bit overpriced but I guess it’s relative. We’ve paid more for park entrance fees and received much less. Our LO was genuinely thrilled and excited!
