We booked the stay, park, and cruise package because it seemed like a great deal. Stay in the hotel the night before, leave your car and they shuttle you to and from the port. First, the hotel is in a terrible part of town. Homeless people and drug deals happening in the parking lot, and the whole place wreaked of weed. Breakfast was terrible. Don't get me wrong, I don't expect much from a continental breakfast, but it was inedible. Shuttle to the port wasn't bad, but from the port was awful. I texted the guy that we were there like he told us to do, and he said he'd be there in 15 minutes. We stood there an hour waiting on him. Then, on the way to our car, he just stops in the middle of the street and says the bus is running hot. We sat on the side of the road for 45 minutes waiting on another bus. We were literally a half mile from the hotel. I think we could've made it. Avoid this place, because you truly get what you pay for.

The pros of this hotel were the cruise shuttle service, which was excellent, and the staff who were (mostly) friendly. Unfortunately there are far more cons - our stay in particular was far below expectations, particularly given the high price we paid. Upon arrival we noticed several homeless people crossing the streets and knocking on the windows of vehicles at stop lights - there were also serveral similar folks walking around the entrance to the hotel. After check in we were sent to a room in the ‘other building’ which looked extremely sketchy - when we drove around we saw what looked like a homeless encampment right outside the gate, and a group of young guys parked in the hotel lot leaning against cars smoking weed. We encountered yet another guy smoking literally on the doorstep at the entrance to our block - so it felt extremely unsafe. To add to this, when we got in the room, it reeked of cigarette smoke and had a large torpedo shaped air machine running full blast at a deafening volume, and a safe that was broken and would not close. Obviously we went back out and went to the front desk where I was told that the machine was to help get rid of the cigarette smoke and should have been removed before we went to the room - basically admitting they had put us in a smoking room when we had booked non-smoking. They also told us that the safes were being removed from the rooms - which is why it wasn’t operational. What an absolutely laughable attitude this hotel has towards the security of its guests. We were moved to a smaller double room (no refund was offered or any sort of compensation) which was adequate - although overall even the main building was dirty and the carpets looked like they hadn’t seen a vacuum in a while. So except for the shuttle driver who was excellent, the overall experience here was horrible. I will not be staying here again.

Juan was the absolute best! He took us even earlier to our ships pier from the Quality Inn Hotel. He gave us great instructions on pick up from the ships pier back to the hotel parking lot where we kept our car during our cruise. Our transfer was so professional and EASY!! I highly recommend using Juan and the transfer shuttle!

We utilized the transportation from the hotel to the cruise port and from the cruise port to the airport! Excellent service! Customer service was great and the price was good! We did not have to wait for a ride getting off the ship! Very easy and convenient! Will definitely use again and share with my travel agent! Thank you! Stress free transportation!
