Simple but efficient Plus: Rooms are clean with a small kitchen (only microwave and flatware), fridge and sink. Bathroom is simple but efficient, soap, shampoo and conditioner available, air dryer. The situation is great! Beautiful view on the World Trade Center, you are just 3 min walk from there! Easy subway access. Staff is very friendly and smiling! There is no drinkable water in the room but there is a refill station with bottles at each floor, tea and coffee at the ground level can be used for the guests, there is no ice bucket in the room but you can find them in the 3rd floor with an ice machine and vendor machines. Less: there was no separation between the bedroom and the living room where my kids were sleeping on the sofa bed, meaning we had to go to sleep at the same time… at least a sliding door or a curtain would have been great.. so could be improved… It is said that there is a kitchen but very simple as no hot plate, no pan, no sponge neither dish soap so think about getting sponge and soap with you… I liked the concept of water refill, self service tea and coffee and ice bucket on need… this is more eco friendly. Simple but efficient!

Small cramped "Superior" room. The bed was immediately inside the door. Poor uncomfortable room layout. Poor shower with poor water pressure. Noisy A/C fan rattling all night. Poor sound proofing windows. Ridiculous placement of shelf 2" above the toilet flush button. Two miserable/detached male front desk personnel (except for one very professional woman) with poor customer service skills. Pretentious 20th floor restaurant with the worst (and overpriced) breakfast imaginable. Oatmeal served lukewarm without a spoon. Eggs completely unseasoned... with no salt and pepper on the table. A hunk of what was supposed to be "chicken sausage" that looked like it fell off a truck on a construction site... and chewed and tasted like it, too. Terrible service requiring me to ask for everything that should have been brought automatically. With only 3 other solo diners, the server never once came back to check if everything was ok. It wasn't. Horrid. The only thing I could say positive is this that this place was clean. I'd recommend a Comfort Inn any day.

Nice hotel downtown and within an easy walking distance of all lower Manhattan. Room was expensive (typical for NYC) but clean and relatively large (unusual for NYC). Staff is uniformly excellent - polite, anxious to please and always easy to find. Marsha-Ann is a particular gem that we enjoyed dealing with. Would stay here again.

Very nice hotel, clean and good located. People were very friendly and there are a lot of convenient and useful things like e.g. soda water for free. WiFi - good enough. The room was very comfortably and big enough. Not far from Subway station. Very interesting and important area few steps from the hotel.
