Club Quarters Hotel Times Square - New York

We stayed at the Club Quarters Times Square. We were upgraded to a superior Queen room, which was spacious and clean. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Still/sparkling water on tap in the lounge downstairs was really nice, as was the free coffee machine. Overall, if you’re looking for a place to stay near Grand Central/Times Square, this is a great option.

I love this hotel. Excellent midtown location is perfect for theatre, music, shopping, etc. Rooms are as pictured -- simple, ingeniously designed spaces with everything you need for a short stay. Very clean and well maintained. The price is excellent for this location. Area around hotel is quiet but filled with many different places to eat at all ends of the price spectrum. And best of all, the staff is terrific: friendly, knowledgeable and very welcoming.

We made a reservation for the beginning of our trip, the hotel seemed renewed, had a great location and cost for what it was offering. When arriving we were surprised starting with a great help from Joanne. She was incredible, offered us a better room available before the check in, and helpped with everything. The room, the staff, everything was great that we changed the reservation to stay there in the end of our trip again. Joanne and all the staff were incredible again, I just want we had the opportunity to say a proper goodbye to Joanne. Thanks a lot for everything!

No housekeeping for entire stay – ignored throughout We stayed here for 4 nights and, quite honestly, it was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. For the entire duration of our stay, the room was not cleaned once. Towels were never changed, and used/dirty towels were left in the room the whole time. We repeatedly contacted the front desk asking for clean towels and basic tea/coffee refills — nothing was ever brought up. To make matters worse, food boxes and rubbish were left in the room for multiple days, with bins piling up and no housekeeping support whatsoever. This wasn’t a one-off oversight — it was consistent across the entire stay. After returning home, I raised this directly with the hotel. Initial contact was made, but since then the communication has been extremely poor. I’ve had to chase repeatedly, including making international calls from the UK, where I was hung up on multiple times. Weeks later, the issue is still not properly resolved. This goes beyond inconvenience — it’s a complete failure of basic hotel service and customer care. Very disappointing experience overall.

Great location between 5th and 6th, a short walk from the Rockefeller Center subway station, Rooms are on the small side but larger than others in NYC that cost more. Clean, comfortable bed, nice amenities in bathroom. Free coffee in lobby, which has a nice sitting area. Our room faced 45th street and there was some noise but no more than one would expect in Midtown and not enough to wake us. A good value for a room in the middle of it all in NYC.
