Description

Under the Big Top at Oracle Park in San Francisco, Cirque du Soleil ECHO delivers a visually stunning performance that blends cutting-edge acrobatics, immersive projections, and emotive live music. The custom-built tent sets the stage for FUTURE, a young girl, and her dog EWAI as they discover a mysterious CUBE and set off on a journey to restore harmony between humans, animals, and the natural world.

This 125-minute show centers around a massive rotating CUBE—about the size of a two-story apartment building—that serves as both a narrative centerpiece and performance structure. Artists climb, swing, and perform on and around the CUBE, which doubles as a projection surface for vibrant light and visual effects. With 10 video projectors, dynamic lighting, and a minimalist yet symbolic set design, ECHO offers both spectacle and thoughtful artistry.

Beyond its breathtaking acrobatics, the production features six live vocalists, with most musicians also contributing vocals. Acts include contortion, hair suspension, aerial performances like bungee straps and flying poles, slackwire, and more. The show balances wonder, whimsy, humor, and reflection—woven together with a clear environmental message.
