Rooms were clean and actually works great. Had to turn it up when we checked in they worked so well. Multiple pools that are very clean and the resort is directly on the beach for an added bonus.

My family and I were all going to stay at the Caravelle Resort. Due to the hurricane that damage part of the resort, one of the rooms we booked was unavailable. The manager was nice enough to give my family options on our rooms. It all worked out for the best.

"Room was great!"

The newly renovated rooms are beautiful. We staying in the King jacuzzi suit. One thing I wish I knew was that the jacuzzi suits only go to the 4th floor. We ended up on the 2nd. The view was still really nice. On the plus side of being on the 2nd floor was being able to take stairs. The elevators are very slowwww and most times only one is working! Checking in early was easy but waiting for the phone call that our room was ready never came. When I showed back up, the line was out the door and I had to wait just to get keys! The staff is very friendly. The woman who cleaned our room was great! The pool is kinda small and there are hardly enough chairs to accommodate the amount of people that were there. The pool bar and pool side food where very expensive. Parking sucks. But I’ve had that problem all over Myrtle beach. Cable cuts out constantly Hallway smells horrible All in all it’s an ok place. We are still on the hunt for a place that has everything we are looking for. The room though was great!!

The resort is very close to the beach and I love when we stay at the st clements. This year we stayed at the resort overlooking the pool. It’s a nice view and we can see when the pool is busy or not. It is an older resort so it’s not perfect but it’s nice. We love Miss Judy at the Santa Maria breakfast buffet she makes the best omelets and she is just so sweet.

Our annual trips to the Caravelle have captured the best memories for my wife and I. We love the location and how it’s a little bit away from the bustling main drag but just close enough to everything to get out and explore. We love having drinks at the St Clements Bar. Our vacation would never be complete without made to order omelettes at the Santa Maria restaurant with the incomparable Miss Judy. She always remembers us when we come every year. She’s the best!

I had seen all the advertisements about the remodel, I'm afraid I didn't see much improvement. The rooms were a little nicer but the rest of the resort was the same. The smell in the area around the laundry room was disgusting. My room was below the pool and sun deck. Someone decided to power wash the sun deck and wash everything down to my deck. The furniture was dirty and moldy after that so you could only stand, there was no where to sit. I also got there early and my room was not ready which I expected, the girl to my number and said she would call when it was ready. Never received the call, finally went back to the desk at 4 and was told it had been ready for awhile.

The hotel itself is ok, but the real draw is the breakfast buffet at the Santa Maria with made to order omelettes and waffles by miss Judy. Also be sure to get a frozen cocktail from the St Clements pool bar.
