Designed for families and golfers, The Caravelle Resort has an expansive pool deck, a game room, and more.

Located in a quiet hotel zone north of downtown's traffic, families are attracted to this hotel for the pools and beachfront locale. Golfers come year round. Guests have playing privileges at the private Dunes Golf and Beach Club, which is less than three miles away. At least one adult of 21 years of age must be in the room at all times for all buildings except for Sea Mark Tower & Carolina Dunes (25).

Water attractions include a complex with a 65 by 30-foot pool; a children's Wild Water pool, lazy river, and a 15-person spa tub (Seasonal). A solarium offers year-round 45 by 12-foot pool paired with a four-person spa tub. Outside, another four-person spa tub provides open air soaking.

The Caravelle Resort offers 620 air-conditioned guestrooms, suites and two and three bedroom condominiums. Most accommodations provide either a full kitchen or a kitchenette that includes a four-burner range, a microwave oven, a full-size refrigerator, toaster, and coffeemaker and comes with dishes, flatware, and cookware.

All fees will be collected upon check-in. The name on the credit card must match that of the reservation and valid ID.
Your credit card will be pre-authorized $200 for incidentals.

To minimize contact for the safety of guests and staff, daily housekeeping will not be available.

We were overall satisfied but did find that the bathtub was not clean upon our arrival. Also, there were a couple of lights out...one over one of the beds & another in the bathroom. On one day a maintenance worker banged on our door because he had a work order that said our ac was leaking water on the floor but we weren't having a problem at all, he had the wrong room! The parking lot was full so we had to park across the street the majority of our stay. Overall we were happy with the accommodations. We had ocean front, great access to pools & housekeeping left us alone as we requested. We also had beautiful weather!

Tip: Go prepared to pay additional money upon check-in. If I had not looked ahead of time I would have been shocked that I had to pay an additional $138 upon check-in.

My family and I were all going to stay at the Caravelle Resort. Due to the hurricane that damage part of the resort, one of the rooms we booked was unavailable. The manager was nice enough to give my family options on our rooms. It all worked out for the best.
