Designed for families and golfers, The Caravelle Resort has an expansive pool deck, a game room, and more.

Located in a quiet hotel zone north of downtown's traffic, families are attracted to this hotel for the pools and beachfront locale. Golfers come year round. Guests have playing privileges at the private Dunes Golf and Beach Club, which is less than three miles away. At least one adult of 21 years of age must be in the room at all times for all buildings except for Sea Mark Tower & Carolina Dunes (25).

Water attractions include a complex with a 65 by 30-foot pool; a children's Wild Water pool, lazy river, and a 15-person spa tub (Seasonal). A solarium offers year-round 45 by 12-foot pool paired with a four-person spa tub. Outside, another four-person spa tub provides open air soaking.

The Caravelle Resort offers 620 air-conditioned guestrooms, suites and two and three-bedroom condominiums. Most accommodations provide either a full kitchen or a kitchenette that includes a four-burner range, a microwave oven, a full-size refrigerator, a toaster, and a coffeemaker and comes with dishes, flatware, and cookware.

All fees will be collected upon check-in. The name on the credit card must match that of the reservation and valid ID. Your credit card will be pre-authorized $250 for incidentals.

To minimize contact for the safety of guests and staff, daily housekeeping will not be available.

Pet Policy: Pets are not allowed. A fine of $500 will be assessed if a pet is brought into a unit. ADA-defined service animals are welcome.

Parking: A $12/night per vehicle registration fee will be charged at check-in. Trailer parking is not available. Golf carts are not permitted. Limit 1 parking pass per unit. Overflow garage parking is for main building guests only.

Overall descent experience but wouldn’t say this resort was super family friendly. Every Tuesday and Thursday they bumped a DJ by the pool and made the pool a very loud experience for people who just wanted to relax. Our room was constantly moist and was pretty dirty upon checking in. The doors of the cabinets were hanging off and our door to the patio would never shut. Hotel seems like it needs a renovation and attracts parties where people were screaming. If you are a family with toddlers I would look somewhere else

From a messed up check in experience to a room that was not as promised, this was not my favorite trip to the Caravelle. I had pre-registered but because of some “computer glitch” I had to do it all again when we arrived. Then, when we got to the room, our keys did not work since they were not properly activated. And when we finally got into the room, the sofa did not make into a bed as promised when I made the reservation. When I talked to the desk manager, she did not apologize, did not assure me that they were accountable and this kind of thing would not happen in the future. Rather, she made excuses. Very unprofessional and not at all what I could call good customer service.

Amazing check in experience by Zee. Our new clean front jacuzzi room is gorgeous! We are beachfront and ground floor and it couldn’t be a better room for our date weekend away. Definitely 10/10 worth the cost and the pools are open late with an indoor and outdoor hot tub and pool

The bed was very uncomfortable, and I found the staff to be generally unfriendly. However, I want to commend Travis at the front desk, who was exceptionally helpful and provided excellent service. The view was amazing. Thanks for doing the best you can.
