"Overall okay"
September 2019
We were overall satisfied but did find that the bathtub was not clean upon our arrival. Also, there were a couple of lights out...one over one of the beds & another in the bathroom. On one day a maintenance worker banged on our door because he had a work order that said our ac was leaking water on the floor but we weren't having a problem at all, he had the wrong room! The parking lot was full so we had to park across the street the majority of our stay. Overall we were happy with the accommodations. We had ocean front, great access to pools & housekeeping left us alone as we requested. We also had beautiful weather!

Tip: Go prepared to pay additional money upon check-in. If I had not looked ahead of time I would have been shocked that I had to pay an additional $138 upon check-in.

My family and I were all going to stay at the Caravelle Resort. Due to the hurricane that damage part of the resort, one of the rooms we booked was unavailable. The manager was nice enough to give my family options on our rooms. It all worked out for the best.

"Fantastic stay!"

I booked a condo last minute for a weekend getaway for my husband, our daughter and myself. I booked it online the day of check in-which was nice because some hotels won’t do that. We got a condo in the St. Clements building. Room 506. It was adorable! Nice and clean And smelled good and stocked with everything we needed to make our weekend very enjoyable. The beds were comfy and clean. Shower was good and hot with good pressure. Everything was in working order. We cooked in our room both nights we were there with no issues with the stove. AND The view was perfect! Balcony was nice and we enjoyed relaxing on it and soaking up the ocean air! Woke up early to watch the sunrise from our bed! We ventured down to the pool, lazy river and hot tub. Lazy river was heated and the pool wasn’t. The hot tub was perfectly hot and so relaxing! We ventured over to another pool that was indoor/outdoor and that was heated too. Steps to the beach was great! This was a great resort and I would definitely recommend it! All staff we encounter were very friendly. One thing that concerned me was the guy checking us in saw we were from Myrtle Beach and said, “Oh hold on I have to see if we are checking in locals now.” And we were like oh great! As, I know of another hotel that doesn’t accept locals at certain times of the year & I really hope this resort doesn’t do that too! As we love to frequent our local hotels that do accept the locals, so we can enjoy the ocean too! We may live in Myrtle Beach but we don’t live on the beach so to get away for ocean weekends it’s really nice! Anyway it was all good and he checked us in with no problems. And we had a fabulous weekend! And we will definitely stay again as long as you accept locals! ;)

Checked in early. View was great. Came back after a great night out at and noticed roaches in room. Relocated to second room asked to get a wash voucher to wash clothes. Told that the roaches probably didn't get in clothing to just shake it off and it would be fine. Was given $5 in quarters which didnt sufcice. Washers are 2.50 and dryers are 1.50. Had to stuff all clothes into one dryer which resulted in damp clothing. Second room has roach on curtain. Relocated to St. Clements where we found 2 roaches in food bag. Checked out early was not issued a refund due to booking with expedia. Will never stay here again ruined vacation and as a result left to go back home early.

The overall stay was good. I felt the room could have mire lighting especially over table where guest could relax and read. Also the kitchen area could be supplied with eating utensils such as spoons forks etc since there were some cookware.
