I’ve been going to Boomers since I was a kid, back when it was still Camelot Park before it was renamed. Over the years I’m sad to say it’s been declining in quality, even more-so in the last couple. What once was a thriving miniature golf park with multiple attractions (go karts, laser tag, bumper boats, rock wall, arcade, and batting cages) very clean, courteous staff, reasonable prices, and enticing weekly promotions/discounts has degenerated into a filthy, seedy establishment that is woefully understaffed with awful employees which are some of the most disrespectful, uncaring, and unskilled staff I have ever come across. The whole park is trash strewn and grimy, the arcade is littered with broken games which NEVER get fixed. And when I mean never I literally mean it, there are games there that I have on multiple occasions brought to the attention of staff members as being inoperable and not one has been fixed in over a year. Also the prizes you can redeem your tickets for are atrocious, cheap, and sparse. It’s incredible the level of incompetence shown by management and staff alike, I have no idea how they even break even at the end of the day and even less of an idea of WHY they even keep it open. It’s unfortunately the only place of its kind in my area and I really wish someone would come in and give it the overhaul and the attention it needs and frankly deserves. It could really be amazing again in this post Covid time. Come back to us Camelot, down with Boomers.

Me and my family were in town and decided to give Boomers a try. We went on a Friday afternoon and parking was not a problem as I expected it would be. The workers at this location were all great and very helpful. You really get a lot for your money when you purchase the cards as they give you additional funds. The games are all very reasonably priced so the kids were able to play plenty of video games and collect many tokens. The outside area was the only thing stopping this review from receiving a perfect score. The go kart area was fine and the kids enjoyed this, however, the smaller kids area was not being supervised and many people, including my family, had to wait until somebody noticed we were present. Also, the batting cages were not working properly as they kept getting jammed and we had to request help several times. We had to run inside to tell staff on 3 different occasions. I would recommend that they keep one staff member outside at all times that way they can monitor these situations Other than that, everything was great. The kids had fun and if I am ever in town again, I will definitely be back !!

"Expensive, but fun."

We have been coming to boomers for a number of years. We have seen it get a few upgrades and right now they have some new games, it was well lit, and they have remodeled the snack bar and even started serving beer. Recently they converted from tokens to a cash credit. The games seem to be very expensive now and the cost of prizes seems to have gone up. The selection of arcade games is good and plenty to keep everyone interested. Outside they have two mini golf courses that are fun, a go kart track, and an inner tube water ride with squirt guns. There is also a rock wall to climb as well as batting cages and a few rides for the very small kids. Snack bar has an over priced carb loaded selection including pizza, chicken tenders, hotdogs, french fries, pretzels and funnel cake. Typical array of soft drinks and ice cream. They also have Icee and beer. There is plenty of parking and they also have party rooms you can reserve. Overall the facility has a reasonable concept, but the recent price increases for the games and rides is starting to make this a less than attractive entertainment venue.

"Mini fun with mini golf "

Boomers had been around for a long time. The property is fairly well maintained considering how long it's been around. We visited with children and it was a great way to spend part of our day. The staff The staff was friendly and really looked to hustle and get to where the customers needed them. Good to see. Keep in mind, our visit was in a Monday mid day. Low staffed but no complaints on the hard working staff. The attractions The mini golf courses are in decent shape and allow for a good time. We had a lot of fun getting through one of the courses and that was about how much we wanted to play. There are two courses available. The Go-Kartz were fun as always!! The karts were in good working condition and plenty to go around. The track is short but very entertaining for all ages. There are height requirements to ride. The bumper boats were also fun although slow paced but the kids love it. The boats have a squirter on them. The climbing wall was in great working order, the kids enjoyed it very much. They offer an easy, medium and hard section to choose from. The arcade was in good working order and there are plenty of machines to choose from. This site also offers bating cages and a go-kart course for the little ones. Pricing Although the prices are fair, depending on how much you want to do, it can add up quickly. Although worth it, make sure to decide which attractions you'd like to take advantage of and figuring out the total cost. I believe a round of mini golf would cost $11 per person. Adds up quick. Over all a great place to visit and have some family fun!
