We just returned from our trip to Avista Resort. Overall, our experience was great! We had a room with a king sized bed and the living area had a Murphy bed along with a sleeper sofa. The room also had a very small kitchen that had everything we needed for the trip. The room was a little outdated but it didn't affect our trip! The only negative about the room was the bed. Super springy mattress - honestly, one of the worst mattresses we have had in a hotel. The slightest movements on it made the loudest noise. The beach access is great. There is someone right by the beach selling the chairs with umbrellas, which was nice on a very sunny day. We didn't spend too much time at the pool area, but we did notice that people set out towels to reserve their spots really early, like 7am early. The pools and lazy river were often crowded because they aren't big. They do have a bar at the pool area that serves drinks and food, which was a nice feature. The food was really good - especially the mozzarella sticks and the pretzels. The parking garage is across the street, which wasn't too big of a deal - except when it was raining and you had to walk across the street to your car. Staff there was super friendly! Overall, we enjoyed our week there!

Nice staff & Clean. We had to park in the oversized lot and everyone was nice that came to let us in and out. Bryan even gave us a ride over to the oversized lot.

We had a WONDERFUL stay! My grandfather loved this place and he passed 3 years ago. Me, my sister, and my mom brought our grandmother (his wife) back for a quick girl’s trip. The room was fantastic - stocked with linens, very clean, with plenty of space. I wanted to leave a raving review for “Coach” and Bryan. Coach was always waiting to be needed - he was personable, entertained us with great conversation, and remembered us as we were leaving. Bryan was wonderful in assisting us with packing our car back up to leave. They need allll the bonuses!!! Wonderful, friendly staff, and a fabulous, nostalgic hotel. Thank you!!!
