    This was my first time visiting Avista Resort, and I was really surprised at how well maintained it was. I loved having an indoor and outdoor pool and lazy rivers. Our room was great, having made service every day was a plus I had not expected. A buffet breakfast was included, the staff was super friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend staying here whether you are with couples or a family. I will definitely be back!

    We just returned back home from a 4 night stay at Avista Resort. We had a fabulous stay and the weather was terrific. The staff and accommodations were great. Clean rooms, excellent facilities and the best location up and down the coast. I highly recommend this resort for your next stay. Be sure to visit Little River and Calabash just up the road for excellent food of all kinds. I especially wish to thank Cornelius, a check in/out attendant. He help us with our luggage and even pointed us in the direction of some homes for sale in the area, as this was the main purpose of our trip down to the coast. Go see this resort. JN Charlotte, NC

    Cozy little place, very nice amenities. Had everything we needed for our family of four to stay and then some. We enjoyed a short walk to the beach, indoor and outdoor pools and hot tubs. The room was amazing and super clean, fully stocked for our needs.
