When we arrived, we were told I'd be ready within the our. So we thought, perfect!! We'll go to the grocery. BY the time we get back, we can unload and go to the Beach. We were gone an hour and a half. The room wasn't ready yet. So we thought I'd be any minute. So we went and waited in the hallway. The cleaning ladies looked to be passed our room, so one adult went in and the cleaning lady was still in there. So she left about 10 min later. We wait in the hallway for anther 2hrs. Even after the boss came in the room to give it the ok. Telling us we will be getting a text shortly to access the room. Over an hour later the original cleaning lady came back with a garbage bag and acted surprised we were there waiting. Other than that, the room was very adequate for us. The dryer: the front of it kept falling off... We stayed in the 3bdroom 3 bath. You should always bring dish soap and dish towels with you when staying at an extended stay. The indoor pool was closed the first full day we were there. Besides the cleaning lady, the staff was really nice and helpful.

This is so sad, we have been coming to the Avista for 20 years. Spent several Anniversaries here. It has always been our go to. Last year, we could tell that it was going down hill but this year WOW!!! Kitchen utensils were under the bathroom vanity??? and a used condom was stuck to the side of the bed. It was gross. Dryer was broke and no DW detergent. The Cleanliness or lack thereof was the deciding factor that we will not be going back. The location was perfect for our needs but I can't handle a nasty place. Furniture had not been wiped down and the floors were not vacuumed. Hallway to the elevator was not clean, someone had dropped a glob of something and it was never cleaned the whole 4 days we were there. It is so sad.

We stayed in room 801 for five months and anytime we needed anything Bryan and Coach were always there to help us. Juan (sp) also was excellent. My mom is 83 and they help unload the car and load the car for us and take it to the room also.
