Devil's Pool Restaurant provides a casual dining experience that combines the best of southern hospitality, down-home fare with rustic elegance. While surrounded by Missouri’s wondrous hills and overlooking the gorgeous Table Rock Lake, Devil's Pool Restaurant offers delicious food in a charming decades-old log cabin. Outdoor balcony seating is optional as the weather permits.

Steeped in Big Cedar’s outward beauty, the pastoral décor of the Devil’s Pool restaurant is no different. The hand-wrought metal chandeliers, antique furnishings, and 100-year-old mahogany bar cast a southern sophistication unique to the region. In the Bass Pro tradition, animal mounts adorn the restaurant’s wall.

Rich in history, the Devil’s Pool name came from the Osage Indians who found a spring they believed was so deep that it flowed down to the devil himself. In the 1920s, businessmen Jude Simmons and Harry Worman bought the 300 acres forest to build upscale resort homes in the area.

In 1947 Dan Norris purchased the property, adding a lodge he called Devil’s Pool Ranch. Then, when the White River was dammed up in 1958, forming Table Rock Lake its waters overflowed Devil’s Pool. Also, some say that the water coming up from Devil’s Pool causes a slight color differentiation under certain lighting.

The menu offers something for everyone with American cuisine that features hickory-smoked prime rib, fresh Rainbow Trout. Also you can enjoy delicious appetizers like blackened striploin fondue and bourbon-bacon shrimp scampi.

Devil’s Pool features a fine wine and drink menu with signature cocktails like the Bourbon Buck, Devil’s Pool Mixer, and Dorothy’s Revenge.

Breakfast and lunch buffets are served daily. In addition, the celebrated Sunday Brunch is a popular weekend destination.
