It was nice when we checked in. The lady at the front desk was nice and polite. The pool looked great. The activities at the pool were fun. The pond near the pool had wildlife, and floating trash. The room they gave us was terrible. The mattress on the pull out sofa was so thin you could feel the bar against your spine. The mattress in the bedroom had a low spot in the middle so we both kept rolling to the center all night. We let them know after the first night. We made the couch up using the sheets provided. The mattress cover for the sofa mattress had a big rip in it, but the actual couch slept one child. We made it up comfortably for her. We told the staff not to bother with the sleeper sofa since we made up the couch. We went out and came back to find they had stripped the couch and thrown all the bedding on the floor of the closet. The one small light in the bedroom had holes in the shade and the arm was loose. The toaster didn't work. We called and they dropped off another toaster. The TV had no service at all. The bathroom light had rust around it and the towel jolder near the sink was loose, although the bathroom itself was well stocked and appeared clean. The tub was really deep. Great for baths, but hard to get in and out of without slipping. The room itself had walls so thin we heard every conversation of the family next door, as well as them putting dishes away. The entry door was so close to the wall, it didnt open fully and it hit the wall when opened. They knew because there was a plastic circukar wall protectir where the doir hits the wall. It also blocked the access from 1/2 the area. There is NO way this should be marketed as sleeping 6! The pull out sofa was literally in the living room/kitchenette. There were zero chairs, except the 2 seat couch/sleeper sofa. We walked around the property. Walking across the busy road to the other side was like playing frogger. The spa was across the road. It seemed to be out of order, too. General maintenance showed most employees didn't care. There was trash on the ground after the family in the adjoining room left. It was still there after multiple employees came to our room. Overall, the maintenance in the entire facility screamed neglect. We ended up paying to stay at Orange Lake resorts, even though we had already paid for Legacy, including their "resort fees." Ot was well worth it so my family could actually enjoy their vacation. Disappointed in Monster for booking us at this place!

Yes, indeed, this was my third time with you. No phone, because you are cutting costs. It is very bad that there is suddenly no phone. Second point, the couch is completely falling apart and worn out. Third point, you do nothing about the gym. The equipment is broken and old. Fourth point, I have never had discounts with you; I have been here three times. And I will not come back; next time I will look for another accommodation that is much cheaper.

Great Amenities, Great Location—but Very Outdated Interiors and Surprises Upon Check-In As a travel expert who personally visits properties before recommending them, this stay at Legacy Resort & Spa Kissimmee was a clear example of why first-hand experience matters. My family and I spent a week here and while there were definite highlights, there were also several disappointing surprises. Pros: ✔️ Excellent location for visiting Disney and surrounding attractions ✔️ Spacious layouts, great for families ✔️ Friendly and accommodating staff ✔️ 3 pools, a well-equipped fitness center, mini golf, game room, basketball & tennis courts ✔️ Pet-friendly property with beautiful grounds and space to walk or run ✔️ Budget-friendly for large families with young children Cons: ❌ The room we booked (3-bedroom for 10) was not the room we received (2-bedroom with sofa beds) ❌ Decor is very outdated—think 1980s style, not what’s shown online ❌ Shower heads had low pressure and needed a good cleaning ❌ Old-school coffee maker (not pod compatible) ❌ High step-in jacuzzi in master with a handheld shower wand but no curtain—unsafe for older travelers ❌ Difficult water controls (pull-out handles) and no proper shower setup in the master bath ❌ Curtains didn’t fully cover the windows and some fixtures were broken ❌ Sliding closet and shower doors were hard to move and in need of repair ❌ Small flat-screen TVs, door frames with cracks and holes allowing critter entry Final Thoughts: This resort has amazing potential and is great for families looking to stay active and explore nearby theme parks, but it desperately needs updates inside the rooms to match what’s advertised online. The staff was kind and helpful, but the outdated conditions and inaccurate booking were disappointing. Travelers—if you're looking for luxury or modern accommodations, this might not be it. But if you're a family on a budget wanting lots of space and activities, it can work with realistic expectations. And if you want the real scoop before you book, trust a travel professional who actually visits the properties. I do the homework so you don’t walk into surprises.

I'm going to break this down into the Pros and Cons of the stay. I'll start with the Pro: 1. The Price. If you are buying this, based on the fact that it's 15 minutes from Disney, the price is somewhere between 20-70% cheaper than anything you would get at Disney. I saw a studio for 4 for around $75.00 per night. 2. They have a service system like no other I've seen. They send you a text message and say, reply to this message if you need anything. They mean anything. Things broken. Need more towels. Need a trash pickup. Need to know where the ice machines are. They respond to the text in less than 10 minutes, and someone is up within an hour or two. 3. The location is 15 minutes away from the Magic Kingdom. Cons: 1. The Place is OLD and some of the furniture is worn out. It works, but it's scratched up sometimes. 2. First morning, there it was. A Roach. This has been reported by others, so I wasn't surprised. However, sent a text, and up came a Pest control guy (they were swarming on Monday throughout the resort - they know). 3. Had several things broken. Both toilets (we were in a 2-bedroom suite) ran on and off all day and night. Sent a text - 3 times. They cam every time but never fixed it. Washing machine didn't spin and remove water. They fixed it. TVs' said - no signal. Turns out you only get so many channels and if it's on one you don't get, you get that message. Refrig Ice maker didn't work. Couldn't fix that. They didn't have the parts. 4. Took for FREAKING EVER to get checked in. Not so sure why it was so complicated, but suspect it's because it's an RCI member and people didn't come preparted with they check in paper work. 5. Tables at the pool were not cleaned and often left dirty by guests (melted Ice cream, spilled drinks, etc.) 6. The bed had the WORST mattress I've every slept on. My back started to hurt on day 2, and by the end it was killing me. After getting back home it started spasming and had to go see a doc. Has taken a week to calm down. 7. In the master (1 bedroom suite), there is a very large hot tub type tub (no jets) and a shower head up on the wall. Odd standing up in an open tub to take a shower. 8. But here is the real kicker. The road in front of this place has got to be the BUSYIEST Road I've every seen. Traffic Mon-Fri is backed up down this road (I measured this myself) about 1 1/2 MILES Dead Stop. And you HAVE to make that left turn into this to get out in the morning.
