"Thank you!"

I stayed at the Intercontinental Toronto Centre from Thursday 22nd of May until Sunday 25th and had an excellent hotel experience. The staff, rooms, restaurant, and view were all superb, and just what I needed after a very long hall flight. The direct skywalk connections to the Metro Toronto Convention Centre proved incredibly useful during my stay, and it would be difficult to get any closer to the CN Tower! I would like to extend a particular thanks to the Concierge who worked the evenings over that weekend, who solved multiple problems for me with an impressive degree of professionalism and capability. Thanks very much Intercontinental Toronto Centre, and thanks to that particular Concierge!

"Fantastic Hotel - 5 Star all the way"

This hotel should be classed 5 star. Loved every min staying here.Staff and facilities were excellent. Room was comfortable and sleep quality was excellent. The hotel itself was immaculate. The club lounge was a highlight and the staff there were probably the best we have experienced. Food was delicious. My only criticism would be to please ask the maid not to knock on your door when we were returning from a day trip to hand you bottles of water she could have left in the room. Suspect she was looking for daily tips. Found this to be annoying as she would not stop knocking until someone opened the door.

"Tired hotel and very average soft product"
TripAdvisor user rating 3.0 out of 5
Reviewed May 23, 2025 NEW
This hotel is quite dated as is obvious from the pictures. It’s well located, but so are the many other hotels from Marriott/Hilton/etc. which are within 5 minutes walk. These hotels are often priced similarly and if this is the case I would stay elsewhere. The rooms are perfectly fine, but for such a dated hotel and the premium space in which an Intercontinental competes in, I would expect a much better soft product. Sadly this was lacking. For example, no one was at the Ambassdor desk when I checked in or out. It took me 25 minutes to check out! As others have noted, the hotel charges a 25CAD fee per night on top of the room rate for some questionable benefits. These include a 10CAD credit in the restaurant which CANNOT be applied for breakfast or room service as well as two bottles of water. Other pointless benefits include, free local phone calls, access to press reader, access to the gym, 5% off the spa, 20% off laundry, and internet. I stayed 4 nights so I ended up paying 100CAD (plus tax!!!!) for two bottles of water. Make of that what you will.

"My favourite hotel in Toronto"
TripAdvisor user rating 5.0 out of 5
Reviewed May 15, 2025 NEW
I have been going to this hotel for 20 years for its location and comfort. I occasionally try other hotels in the same category and so far I have always missed the Intercontinental. As an IHG member, I am always very well treated. I am always able to have early check-in and late check-out. Also, as I have tried many rooms, I have my favourite. I write a week or two before and I get my favourite room (which is an ugrade). Other positive things are the amazing breakfast buffet, the swimming pool, the comfortable beds, selection of pillows according to one's preferences.
