Wow, this place and the people here have been fantastic. We came into town for a hockey tournament in mid-January. Everything was clean, well maintained, and operational. The staff was very friendly, accommodating, and made us feel right at home. When traveling with youth hockey players, most hotels treat you with caution and a little bit of apprehension. Not this staff. They welcomed our families and players. Then a snow storm moved in which forced us to stay an extra evening. The staff was flexible with the timelines of checking in and checking out. They helped to make a stressful situation much more relaxing and feel more like home. Thank you to everyone at the front desk, the bar, and the kitchen for treating us so nicely.

"I love this hotel. Great location and pleasant staff."

The front desk staff and breakfast people were very nice! The location is excellent right next to the waterfalls. The rooms are fine. They are average. But this hotel is also very affordable and the location can’t be beat. The only way in and out of this hotel is right through the front door. I usually like to take my dogs out a side door just to avoid commotion. but it’s not a problem because this staff always makes me and my dogs feel very welcome. I was there for four days and everybody that I interacted with was really nice. The breakfast was pretty good. It was missing donut holes and cut up fresh fruit and yogurt, which are two of my favorite things to have at Hyatt with breakfast. They did have donut holes two of them mornings, but not all four of the mornings. The parking situation was a bit frustrating. We had to park in a parking garage across the street. It’s a shame how neglected that parking garage is. That doesn’t have anything to do with Hyatt though. That’s a Niagara Falls thing I believe. There’s graffiti and boards boarded up doors and broken stuff on the ground. They really don’t do the bare minimum with that Garage. This is my fifth time to come to this hotel and that Garage is always in bad shape. The thing I don’t like about it though is that in order to validate your parking ticket, you have to know your license plate number. I’m sure a lot of people know their license plate numbers, but I didn’t know all of it. I know the first four digits and in most places that’s fine if I can say the color and make a model of my car in the first four digits of my license plate number. So if they won’t validate the parking without your license plate and you’re trying to check out, you don’t know it I guess you have to go to the parking garage to get it and come back to get the validated parking. If they got the license plate number when you check in instead, then that would be easy because the car is right in front of the hotel at that time. My remote control didn’t work. It did the first night, but that was it. I guess the battery went dead. Maybe it would be a good idea to change the batteries routinely instead of waiting for them to die so people don’t have to be inconvenienced with not having a TV. did I mention this scrambled eggs? I would suggest breaking up those scrambled eggs. They are served in 3 in.² clumps and that’s kind of gross. Just break them up a little bit so they look like normal scrambled eggs. That wouldn’t be hard to do. I would also appreciate it if they served cut up fresh fruit and yogurt like a lot of the Hyatts do. And also, I would appreciate more healthy options for snacks and some diet drinks too..

"Good Location Family Friendly Hotel"

Nice located hotel which is walking distance to Canada custom and viewing points of Niagara Falls in USA. For a three star hotel, they have all the things that is needed a for a good family stay. We got a two Queen size bed room with a additional sofa bed, good for a family of 4. AC is working fine and quiet, bathroom hot water is good during winter season and tv comes with good selection of channels for family viewing. There is a gym which we did not use due to our short 2 night stay. There is a attractive $11 breakfast buffet available. Paid washer and dryer available onsite which is good for us to wash our clothes. Only downside is there is not kettle to make hot/warm water for drinking in room.

"unfortunately this hotel does not come up to the standards that Hyatt is known for and what we have come to expect ."

Public areas definitely need more attention to cleaning and lighting. The sofa beds are way past their life and need to be replaced . We booked the hotel one day prior to arrival due to availability of indoor pool . On arrival we found that pool was closed for maintenance. No mention of the same on hotel page on web .
