This really is a nice IHG branded hotel in Branson. Been loyal to this place for many years. The hotel public areas and guest rooms are clean. My standard 2 queen bed guest room was comfortable. This hotel offers stay-over housekeeping service for multiple night stays. My room attendant was a young man and he was very friendly. I would have probably left a couple of dollars in the breakfast tip jar had the breakfast attendant smiled and said good morning. The front desk staff refused my request for a late check out. Seems IHG Rewards Elite status does not matter much here when the hotel is busy.

This location is far below typical Holiday Inn Express standards. The first room we were assigned on the 5th floor had an overwhelming stench of mildew. It was terrible. We were moved to a second room on the second floor that was better but still slightly smelly. Another issue was the fact that the bathroom door handles in both rooms were dirty with some kind of caked-on substance. At first I thought it was just corrosion, but I tried wiping it off with a wash rag, and it came right off. Gross! I spoke with management and they assured me it would be passed on to housekeeping. So, my thought is that this hotel does meet minimum standards of cleanliness. I wouldn’t recommend it.

Stayed in 2 rooms. 523 & 525. 525 had an odor. The AC unit had wires hanging out underneath. Both rooms had filthy carpets. Daughter got sick sleeping in the bed closest to the AC. Lung infection due to mildew in AC. No water in hotel first night. Bathtub drain clogged. Will not be staying at this particular hotel again. Very disappointed.

The room was a bit older, but very clean and nice. We had a suite, hoping for utensils, but there really wasn't anything. No stove so be aware of that, but there is a coffee pot, toaster and microwave. However, what made this stay the BEST EVER was the people. The front desk check in was quick and easy and the nicest person, especially as she was working Christmas day. Check out was super easy, and even after we'd forgotten something in the room, they were extremely nice and helpful and we would recommend this hotel and it's employees to EVERYONE!!
