Comfort Inn International Drive in Orlando, FL

Christina at the Comfort Inn Orlando truly went above and beyond and deserves a raise. After a hiccup earlier in our travel, she made sure we were completely taken care of and turned the experience around. My husband previously worked in the hotel industry, and even he was genuinely impressed by her level of care and professionalism. I truly hope her manager sees this because employees like Christina make all the difference. The property is currently undergoing some construction and a parking redesign, but it was still quiet, our room was very comfortable, and it did not impact our stay at all. We’re only here for one night after flying in, and we would absolutely recommend staying here despite the construction.

This “hotel” is dirty, old and will not give you full deposit back. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Also front desk is rude when you ask about your deposit.

I read the reviews and thought surely it could not be that bad BUT it was. When we arrived we were given rooms 414 and 416 as we opened the door a lady came out and said the room hasn't been cleaned and disappeared. When we looked in the room is was disgusting so was the other room. We went back to reception and was assigned two more rooms 508 and 509 which on first looking seemed clean and tidy, however both rooms had faulty doors and at one stage we could not get into the room which management had to try and get into and finally had to override the security lock which took quite a while. This meant that half of our day was ruined as we could not get into the room. We were then moved again into rooms 408 and 409 which the room was very damp and smelt and the bath tap was constantly running with hot water that made the room steam up, the room was unbearable to stay in. All our clothes were damp and smelly and they did not have laundry facilities to wash our clothes, which is advertised on their website. Apparently it has been taken over by new management and they seem to be trying to improve it but everyday around 6am they started painting the outside of the hotel and doing maintenance in the hotel which was very noisy at times. The breakfast was ok but if you did not go early most things were gone. Although the hotel was horrible I must praise the people on reception who were so lovely and tried their very best to try and resolve our issues. Kenisha was so helpful and went out of her way to help us also Alejandra who had recently started working at the hotel, these ladies are amazing. I hope the new owners take their time and revamp this hotel to a good standard or no one will want to stay there.
