from Wicked
Winner of over 50 major awards including the Grammy Award and three Tony Awards®, WICKED is the untold story of the witches of Oz. Long before Dorothy drops in, two other girls meet in the land of Oz. One, born with emerald-green skin, is smart, fiery and misunderstood. The other is beautiful, ambitious and very popular. WICKED tells the story of their remarkable odyssey, how these two unlikely friends grow to become the Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda the Good.

With a thrilling score that includes the hits “Defying Gravity,” “Popular” and “For Good,” Wicked has been hailed by The New York Times as “the defining musical of the decade.” Time Magazine cheers, “if every musical had the brain, the heart, and the courage of Wicked, Broadway really would be a magical place.”

Declared “The Best Musical of the Decade” by Entertainment Weekly and “A Cultural Phenomenon” by Variety, WICKED is based on the novel by Gregory Maguire, has music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz, and a book by Winnie Holzman. The production is directed by Joe Mantello with musical staging by Wayne Cilento.

This show is approximately 2 hours and 45 minutes (1 intermission). Recommended for ages 8 years and up. Children under 5 years will not be permitted in the theatre.

"Amazing show!"

Must NOT miss! If you’ve never seen a musical and wanted to try it out, I think this is a fantastic show to start with! It’s an uplifting story surrounding personal journeys and friendship. Phantom is great too, but Wicked has a modern flavour to it that will make it ‘digestible’ for any age group. Favourite song - For Good. But all acts and songs, all favourite-worthy!!!!

"Wow!! Amazing performance, great venue"
TripAdvisor user rating 5 out of 5

We did a Thursday night performance that starts an hour earlier than other weekday performances. Thought that was a little odd, but over all the Venue was very comfortable and the performance was very well done. Sound was well balanced and didn’t have any issues hearing dialog or the orchestra. Restrooms were very busy during the intermission and there were several patrons that did not make it back into their seats before the second act started. Bought the souvenir cups with one of the “Wicked” frozen drinks. Alcohol content was difficult to taste/detect. I had not read the screenplay or read anything about the plot prior to attending. Magical performance that was very enjoyable and the story plays very well into the story we already know. Loved it, highly recommend this show at this Theatre.

"A lot happened before Dorothy dropped in is right"

I purposely all these years wanted to know nothing beforehand. Glinda and Elphiba filled in the blanks with angelic songs and humor, all the while the rest of the cast and effects keep you in it's spell for nearly 3 hours. It's sorcery of the best kind.
