Description

Dazzling showgirls, a dynamic live orchestra, music, and dance come together in VEGAS! THE SHOW to tell the story of the magic of the Las Vegas Show how it all began. The Rat Pack, Elvis, Gladys Knight & The Pips, Tom Jones—these are the iconic legends who shaped Vegas, making it what it is today!

This musical journey begins in the evocative 'Neon Boneyard,' where the once-glorious city signs rest, waiting to be reignited by their devoted caretaker, Ernie. With unwavering determination, Ernie strives to showcase the authentic essence of Las Vegas entertainment as it was originally intended.

Shortly after, a procession of showgirls, vocalists, dancers, and a lively "big band" assemble alongside Ernie, guiding the audience on a melodic voyage through the years. They narrate the tale of the most electrifying entertainers who propelled Vegas to become the Entertainment Capital of the World.

VEGAS! THE SHOW was written by show producer and theater owner David Saxe who literally grew up backstage of a Las Vegas show. David's mother was a showgirl in Les Folies Bergere and David's father was a saxophone player and bandleader for The Rat Pack.

For over two decades, David harbored the vision of bringing the essence of Las Vegas to life on stage—lavish costumes, vibrant musical performances, and the timeless aura of vintage Vegas! Like the central character Ernie, Saxe can't fathom the idea of it all fading like the iconic hotels of the city. The creation of VEGAS! THE SHOW is his method of preserving this enduring legacy!

Great show movie g through the history of Las Vegas. The dancers were outstanding and worked hard. High energy throughout. We were sitting close to the stage. A little to close. Rows D or E would be better. Singing was well done. The topper a full live orchestra. Super rare these days.
