"Outdated, Dirty, SMELL and OVER PRICED"

I was extremely disappointed with my stay at the Horseshoe Hotel. The entire property feels very outdated and poorly maintained. The smell of cigarette smoke lingers throughout the building, and the carpets in the hallways are stained, stretched out, and in desperate need of replacement. The food options on-site are overpriced and underwhelming. I paid nearly $30 for a basic burger combo at Johnny Rockets, and it was honestly terrible. The resort fees are excessive, especially considering most of the amenities covered aren't even used by the average guest. What really shocked me was the blatant price gouging at the hotel’s stores and cafes — $8.50 for a bottle of water? $10 for a small fruit cup? You can walk around the corner to CVS and get 24 bottles of water for the same price, along with similar food items at a fraction of the cost. Overall, I felt like this hotel was more interested in squeezing every penny out of its guests than providing a comfortable or enjoyable experience. I won’t be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend it to others.

"Worst check-in experience of my life!!!"
TripAdvisor user rating 1.0 out of 5

I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the experience I had during my recent check-in at your hotel, which is part of the Caesars Entertainment group. Upon arrival, I was forced to wait over two hours to check in, despite there being only about ten guests ahead of me. The front desk was clearly understaffed, with only two employees available and no visible presence or assistance from a manager during this extended delay. When I finally received my room key and proceeded upstairs, I was shocked to find that the assigned room was under construction. The television was on the floor, and there were other hazards present that made the room unsafe—so much so that I nearly tripped and fell. I had to return to the front desk and wait again to be reassigned a proper room. This was, without a doubt, the worst check-in experience I have ever encountered at any hotel. To make matters worse, I was denied the opportunity to speak with the manager on duty, Sean L., and received no apology or acknowledgment for the inconvenience caused. I expect a prompt response addressing this issue, along with steps your team intends to take to ensure future guests are not subjected to a similar experience. Compensation for the unacceptable service and inconvenience would also be appreciated.

"Guy Fieri should be embarrassed! Don't stay here."

Terrible. Rooms were old and dingy. I upgraded to a suite and it was a big room but hardly what you would expect. The casino was old and the table limits were way too high for that casino. I suspect it was because the WSOP was in progress. several of the elevators were malfunctioning and I never saw a casino employee around. We went to Gut Fieris Flavortown for breakfast the first day we were there and although it took forever for the food to come it was fantastic. exactly what you expect from Guy: Gourmet level. So, we decided to go back 2 days later and it was a complete joke. Actually every item we got was terrible. We ordered the same Avocado Toast we got the first day which was exactly as described on the menu (brioche toast), was served on a hamburger bun! Nothing match what the menu described. We talked to the manager and he said they didn't expect the number of people and they "adjusted" by serving bad food! Incredible. It also took forever to get our meal again. At least he comped the crappy meal for us. If I was Guys Fieri I would have been totally embarrassed! Will never stay in this hotel again.

"Pool experience was terrible, food/beverage prices out of control."
TripAdvisor user rating 3.0 out of 5

Don't stay here if you want to go to the pool cause Monday thru Thursday you have to walk over to the Paris pool. Horseshoe pool is only open Friday thru Sunday 9am to 5pm and only the shallow end of the pool is open cause they never have enough life guards. Corporate greed at its best! No wonder travel is down for Vegas along with ridiculous high prices on foid/beverages

"Ok hotel"

Hotel was decent. It was clean and they were responsive to needs. I was very dissatisfied about the pool being closed all week though. Hotel said it was only open on the weekends, during Memorial Day week also as they were hosting the WSOP. In my opinion, if I am paying these heavy resort fees, I should have all the amenities available to me. Instead I had to walk about a mile to the Paris pool. Would have been nice to know this before I checked in, I would have chosen a different hotel because going to the pool is something I do each day while in Vegas. I would also say, since this changed from Ballys to the Horseshoe, hotel ownership has done nothing to improve this hotel. Guess they are just letting it go downhill
