"Room was GROSS."

My wife and I did a spring break where we started in Sedona, then drove from Sedona to Las Vegas to catch a few shows and have a good time before returning home. I usually stay at P-H, but this time I booked at Paris (another Total Rewards property). We arrived later than we hoped from Sedona, then went to check in at Paris. We stood for OVER AN HOUR in the check-in line, which is significant later. By then we were hungry, so we ran to the room, dropped our stuff off, then went out to do Vegas things. It wasn't until we got back to the room, around 2-2:30 in the morning, that we realized the room was disgusting. There was hair in the shower, the sheets had some sort of marker/makeup stains, and there was splatter that appeared to be blood on the ceiling. It was late, and we cleaned the shower ourselves. We didn't want to waste an hour in the line to get our room changed, so we just tried to ignore the balance of the room. When we did check out, they seemed relatively disinterested, and offered us like a discount of one night, but clearly didn't demonstrate the kind of reaction I would expect from a better hotel. Never had this kind of issue at P-H, Bally's, C-P or others.

"Very average room, below average customer service"

Very standard hotel room. Kind of worn and tired looking, but beds were in good condition and room looked clean. Hall carpet was very worn and full of large spots. There was a mini fridge in the room, and it was running, but it was warm so we did not use it. Also no coffee maker in room. Not surprising there was no housekeeping services at all for the 3 days we were there. The only big disconnect with that is there are no towel bars to hang wet shower towels! Also not surprised there was still a "resort fee". I thought however it would be less as the pool was not open. FYI to those impacted by smoke, our room was no smoking, however the casino floor and open areas apparently allow smoking. Be prepared for second hand smoke walking to and from your room. The casino and other public areas were generally clean (no dirty glassware, filled ash trays, food wrappers, or messy bathrooms). The check in experience was terrible. We had booked through the hotel (decent mid week rate) and received an email the day before reminding us of our confirmation number, that our room (Standard King) would be ready and could we could check in early at 12:30 without early check in fee. So, when we tried to check in at 12:45 and was told that no rooms were available we politely said we had gotten an email and showed it to the clerk. She immediately got an attitude and said that check in was not until 4. We asked why we would have gotten this email and rather than apologize, offer to check our bags, give us a coffee coupon or little perk while we waited she continued to be surly saying there was nothing she could do. We politely asked to speak to a manager ( always find we catch more flies with honey so work very hard to stay nice) and the manager also had attitude! The manager finally found a double room (not the King we had booked) and offered that with an early check in fee. We agreed to the switch in rooms but declined the fee. Finally after much very polite discussion the manager relented and were not charged the fee. Based on other comments we were not surprised by the less than positive check in experience. Had we not received the email from the hotel we would have not gone to check in early. Customer Service was very much lacking in that department. It would have been great if they went above and beyond and we were offered an upgrade, or some other perk, but we were not asking for something other than what we had been promised in writing. This is a front facing department and can set the tone for the guest's overall experience, and reviews like this.

"Not worth the cost!"

Very disappointed. Booked a room with Eiffel Tower view, got alley view. No cell phone service in room, charged for wifi, tv didn’t work consistently, poor lighting, empty soap dispenser in shower, had to wash with shampoo, magnifying mirror in bathroom was mounted so high no one could use it, Paint on baseboards chipped and dirty looking. On top of it, was charged $186.90 in addition to room cost for “resort fees” for things we never used..fitness room , internet, etc. There was no mention of this online or at check in. Would not recommend this hotel.

"Aimee is my super hero!"

After waiting 25 minutes so so at check-in I was told that they couldn’t find my reservation and I was sent to I guess guest relations where I met Aimee. A life saver! I was tired after a long flight and then standing in a long, slow check-in line and being told I didn’t have a reservation? Stress level, sky high! Aimee was so nice from the start. Maybe she could see the exhaustion on my face when I walked up but she was immediately on reduce stress mode. She was helpful, kind, nice, funny. Explaining everything and writing it all down so that when I went back to check-in I could be assured the issue was corrected. I wish the lady at check-in was as accommodating. But thanks to the wonderful Aimee for all her assistance! Y’all have a wonderful employee in her.
