"Resort fees are a rip off ......."

Parked on level 4 and had to take a lift and escalator to get into the hotel. The walk to the reception is long too. We then had to wait over 30 mins to check in - you can do on line but I didn't have secure wifi Check in wasn't very friendly - expected as a big hotel. I had booked a Bordeaux Giverny King Suite. I thought I'd booked a room with a view but at check in they wanted another $50 a nite for a view. The resort fees are ridiculous - especially as most people do not use the gym. There was a coffee machine in the room but they don't supply you with pods. Shocking after the resort fee - they expect you to buy these too! The room is dated and could do with update. The cupboard door fell off the tv stand and it was filthy inside Would I stay again - N0 - it's too big, unfriendly and they have a cigar bar (smell passing was awful) and they allow smoking in the casino which is horrible We got an email saying you have left something - no idea what we left..they never said /contacted us again. Best thing - checking out

"Great location / maintenance problems during the entire stay"
TripAdvisor user rating 2.0 out of 5

Arrived 25 minutes early before check in and was charged $25 to enter the room . Hotel is beautiful and staff was friendly . We have maintenance problems during the entire stay. No hot water . I spoke to the front desk multiple times and used the text app they sent and asked to be used. We had a repair guy come 4 times and still no hot water. We called each time to be told a guy would come fix it. They offered to move us the last night at midnight when we had to be up at 4am to catch a flight. Beware

"Deeply Concerning Experience for LGBTQ Guests"
TripAdvisor user rating 1.0 out of 5
Reviewed November 09, 2025 NEW
I am a Caesars Rewards Gold Member and have stayed at Caesars properties many times, but my recent experiences at Horseshoe Las Vegas and Paris Las Vegas were disturbing enough that I feel obligated to warn other travelers, especially LGBTQ guests. During my stay, two of my bags were stolen on property. I understand that theft can happen, but what was unacceptable was the response. Security took minimal information and never followed up. Not a single phone call, email, or update. The level of indifference was alarming. When I attempted to store my luggage at the Horseshoe bell desk, the staff spoke to me with open disrespect, despite the fact that I had an active reservation. The tone was intentionally belittling, and I left that interaction feeling embarrassed and singled out for no reason other than asking for standard service. The most serious incident occurred at Paris Las Vegas, where an employee used a homophobic slur directed at me. There was no miscommunication or misunderstanding. The language was deliberate, hostile, and completely unacceptable in any setting, especially in a hospitality environment. When I was leaving the property, a security representative mocked my Caesars Rewards status, laughing and asking about the color of my loyalty card, as if that determined whether I deserved basic respect. This was not one isolated interaction. It was a pattern of dismissive, unprofessional, and hostile behavior across different staff members, departments, and properties. That suggests a cultural problem, not an individual one. I have already filed a formal complaint requesting that this be escalated to Corporate Guest Relations and Human Resources for review. I sincerely hope Caesars takes these incidents seriously and examines the environment that allowed them to happen. I am not asking for perfection. I am asking for safety, respect, and basic dignity. Until there is evidence that this issue has been addressed internally, I cannot recommend these properties to LGBTQ travelers or anyone who values being treated decently while traveling.
