"Where maintenance and cleanliness are not a priority"

Paris Hotel has a good location on the strip, however, this was the only positive we could find in the hotel. The room was completely unsatisfactory, which was immediately apparent as soon as we entered and saw the door frames had extensive paint chipping and the room smelled. The bathroom in general was in very poor condition with mold and peeling wallpaper. The carpet was stained by the bed, the cabinets in poor condition, and the room overall was unclean in every area with thick layers of dust along the baseboards. Our safe was broken, which we reported, and it was not repaired during our stay. Maintenance, cleanliness, and customer care are not a top priority for the hotel. We had colleagues staying on another floor who made the same determination. To top off this not so wonderful experience, we also found the restaurants and mini market outrageously expensive...$8 for a bottled soda. Items in the mini market were not priced, and I can imagine this is for a reason. We did expect a casino/hotel to be higher priced in their restaurants, but it was absolutely ridiculous. This was not a pleasant experience in any way. Had it not been for attending a conference there, we would have left.

"Nice location but nott clean"

Good location, convenient to many places we wanted to go. The staff was friendly and helpful. That said, we signed up for daily housekeeping and didn’t see a housekeeper during our entire stay. We finally just called down for fresh towels. Also, one of the pillows in our room had a big blood stain on it that went through the pillowcase into the pillow. They need to get housekeeping together!

"Unacceptable Housekeeping & Complete Lack of Resolution"
TripAdvisor user rating 1 out of 5
Reviewed January 11, 2026 NEW
We had a very late check-in at Paris Las Vegas around 10:00–10:30 PM after traveling all day with our children. Upon entering our room, we immediately noticed that the bathroom had clearly not been cleaned. There was hair all over the sink, floor, and shower floor. The mirror above the sink was covered in toothpaste splatter and what appeared to be makeup. The rest of the room looked clean, but the bathroom was absolutely unacceptable. We also did not have enough towels or washcloths for four occupants. I contacted the front desk around 10:45–11:00 PM. They apologized and said someone would come up right away to clean the bathroom and deliver additional towels. After waiting 45 minutes with no one showing up, I called again and was told the same thing. Another 45 minutes later, a runner arrived with clean towels only—no cleaning supplies—and said she would “put a note in the system.” I called the front desk a third time around midnight and expressed my frustration, explaining that we had been traveling all day, had children with us, and were unable to shower or get ready for bed. At this point, it was already 3:00 AM our hometown time. Finally, around 12:45 AM, someone arrived with only a few rags and a small bottle of cleaner to clean an entire bathroom that had clearly not been serviced. He did his best, but he was not equipped for a proper cleaning. There was never an offer to change rooms or any compensation for the inconvenience. To make matters worse, we later discovered the body wash dispenser in the shower was completely empty—only after stepping into the shower. Because we got to bed so late (2:30 AM Vegas time / 5:30 AM local time), we changed our plans the next day and slept in. We left the room around 11:00 AM and returned at approximately 4:30 PM to find the room had still not been cleaned. I immediately contacted the front desk and explained that it was unacceptable to stay in a dirty room for a second night. Once again, I was told someone would come immediately. We left again to give them time and returned around 6:00 PM—still no cleaning. I went down to the front desk and was told housekeeping would not be cleaning the room and was offered fresh towels and removal of the resort fee for the night, which felt like a joke given the circumstances. I made it clear that I had no issue paying what was owed—I simply wanted a clean room so my family could enjoy our vacation. Again, I was told “sorry,” but no one was available. After returning to the room, I called back and asked to speak with a manager. I was told the situation was unacceptable and that the housekeeping manager would be contacted. I was told I would be called shortly. In the meantime, I contacted my travel agent, who attempted to intervene, but the hotel refused to discuss the issue with them and insisted I come back to the front desk and “calm down.” At no point had I raised my voice or acted inappropriately. Eventually, the same gentleman from the night before arrived with a cleaning cart to clean only the bathroom. I was appreciative of his effort and honestly felt bad for him—he said he was the only person working during one of the busiest times of the year. After all of this, there was no meaningful compensation offered for the inconvenience or the negative impact this had on our family’s trip. For a city built on customer service, this experience was incredibly disappointing. Paris Las Vegas fell far short of even basic hospitality standards, and I would not recommend staying here.

The only true complaint is the long wait at check in and out. Good personal interaction. Need more staff at registration. Room was clean minus a few small issues. We are frequent visitors to Vegas and this experience was in the top 10. As all resorts fees are too high.
