This hotel is unfortunately not what it advertised. The guest rooms smell horrible and are extremely dated/unkept. I checked out early and would never stay here again.

I stayed solo for 7 nights. I will not stay here again and I do not recommend. Front desk staff typically were sitting in an alcove and did not proactively greet the guests. Ice machine was broke and water was not filled frequently. Room was tiny, no desk or mirror as described. Smelled very musty and dank. No housekeeping at all. I had to find someone in the hall for a refill of toilet paper and Kleenex. I took my own trash out daily. Two positives: The bed and bedding were very comfortable. And the location is great, safe and multiple restaurants within walking distance. Overall, not worth the price.

This hotel was just what I needed for one night in Chicago. There are a lot of restaurants, bars and shops in walking distance and I felt safe. I lucked out and got a parking spot on the street but there is a garage close by. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was tight but it was fine by me. I would stay again!

Our room was never cleaned or serviced, and we were not told that when we checked in. Toiletries were not restocked and we had 1 roll of toilet paper that ran out while we were there and we had to go to the front desk to get another one since the phone in the room didn't work. There was a large dead, dried up bug on the carpet. The location was convenient, so that was the upside.
