Pathetic There a charge for booking via a third party There was literally nothing extra that this place would do. I was willing to pay to have a late check out and no- The back of the property has railroad tracks. It’s clean but dated. Very dated with just a new poor paint job. I would not stay here again.

Renovations performed on this dated hotel were done very poorly both inside the rooms and on the exterior. The bathroom door frame suffered from a forced entry that damaged the moldings and was "repaired" with nails and caulking, but never re-painted. The tap water had the odor of sewage. The staff we met were personable and professional, but the over-all condition of the place would keep us from returning.

Clean rooms, comfortable bed, and we enjoyed the pool and the patio area. The location is also great. It is within walking distance to the Village Inn for a hearty breakfast and walking distance to Old St. Augustine, though you do have to cross a busy 4 lane road with no pedestrian crosswalk. One dislike, the tile floor was always damp.

Clean rooms, AC worked, icemaker in room was a nice touch. Paid for room on a third party app, and there was no mention of any additional charges. During check-in, I was advised there was a $15 fee for using a third-party app. It's still cheaper than the advertised rate but I'm not good with surprises.

The hotel is a mix between hotel and motel. We checked in having called ahead a month ago asking if there were EV car chargers on property and were told YES. they do not have EV chargers, so we had to find alternative plans. The room is a little dated but clean and didn’t smell. Mattresses are excellent. Shower water pressure was good. Joel on the front desk was very kind and attentive. The only person who seemed to have a positive attitude. Main issue for us was the noise level of other guests at night. Last night one of the guests was in the hallways outside the rooms- loudly talking on the phone and with members of staff and getting heated regarding the price of her room in the middle of the night. The staff member on that shift was being very courteous and attempting to handle the situation but she was projecting from her diaphragm. By 1am I had to step out of the room and ask for quiet please- and the staff member was very apologetic for the noise. The woman did not reduce her volume on the phone for a further 15 mins. - I recognise this is not the hotels fault, but wanted to stress the thinness of the walls and the echo that the outdoor hallways create. Also our room phone and hair drier did not work. When I asked at around 8pm on our check in day if they had a replacement one- the staff member told me there was nothing he could do. But next morning Joel was on the desk and was incredibly helpful and found me a replacement drier for the room. Overall not a bad stay, just it wasn’t conepletely peaceful.
