"Do not believe a receptionist when she tells you the booking was cancelled!"

I cannot review as when I arrived, the receptionist told me my booking had been cancelled. She kept typing on her computer, confirming there had been two bookings cancelled. Their mistake! Did not offer me room.

"Beautiful Historical Hotel"

What a neat historical hotel! The hotel was beautiful and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Our room was very cozy and very well furnished. We really enjoyed the extra sitting area in the evening. The breakfast was very good too! Really appreciated the free coffee and cookies available in the entry and the bar was super nice. Probably the best part of this hotel was the great location! Right down the street from The Niagara State Park! The staff told us we could go up to the very top floor and view the fireworks they did over the Falls every night too! That was a great way to view them! The area around the hotel had several restaurants and the parking was in a secure gated lot right across the street. If your going to the park, this is definitely the hotel to stay in!

"Great location and best views in Niagara Falls, NY"

Excellent location just a few blocks from Niagara Park and the islands. We booked a 1 bedroom with a kitchen, it was surprisingly large. The staff is really, really nice and friendly. I brought my service dog. They were very accommodating and they are a dog friendly hotel. The hotel parking is across the street, gated with an assigned space. There is also complimentary breakfast (bread, potato, sausages/bacon, eggs, Waffle station, cereal and yogurt). My husband enjoyed the breakfast. They also have fruit water, coffee and cookies available at the lobby and a bar. The apartment badly needs a renovation. It's strangely decorated, I would describe as a bit goth or 80's victorian. (Those prints of abstract paintings should be burned, they make the apt feel a bit macabre) The apartment was dark and the furniture is old and beaten up. The floor was weirdly sticky, I'd recommend bringing slippers. The large bathroom has a jacuzzi tub, a small pedestal sink in between 2 cabinets but there is nowhere to hang a towel, no hooks or towel bars. The vases of plastic flowers had cobwebs and was full of dust. There are also exposed vent or AC tubing/pipes(?) in the ceiling and can be a bit loud. The kitchen had basic supplies, I did not use them except the microwave. The best part of this place was the view (rm 1310) it was spectacular! We had great views of the falls and at night the fireworks at 10. There are hotels near by but I would still recommend this hotel. I did alot of research and they are comparably priced but I think they have the best views. We spent 2days/3nights and that was enough to do see everything in the area.

"Will NEVER stay there again!"

Let met begin by giving a shout out to the staff - very friendly! Unfortunately, the positive ends there. Our room was roomy, however, the carpet was stained and even torn in the entry to the bathroom. There were 40 watt light bulbs everywhere - halls were especially dark and dingy. We paid for a "corner" room only to find out the view was to the building roof next door. The bathroom had been updated, but the urine stained floor in front of the child sized toilet was gross. No robes - as stated on the website. We had to ask the front desk every single day for towels and a clean bathmat. The water pressure from the shower head was minimal. The outlets were so old and loose that I was unable to dry my hair without the plug falling out. The AC only worked on high, so we turned it off until the room became warm and turned it back on - all night long. We had a nice glass of wine one evening from the bar, but the furniture in the lounge was so old, dirty and worn out, we chose to go back to our room - where there was an old, cracked desk chair. A "Skyview Lounge" was advertised, but after we climbed some very steep stairs complete with spider webs, it was only a small room on the upper level. The windows were filthy, diminishing any hope of a view. There was no guide available for the very small TV, so you had to scroll through all the channels. Would never stay here again!

"Terrible experience"

Would never stay again. Room was nothing like what is shown on their website. 2 night stay for a total of right at $800. 2nd floor room with a view of the hotel next door within 20 feet with the rooms filled with what appeared to be dirty laundry so we were unable to open the blinds to enjoy any sunlight as shown on their website. Room layout was so tight it was hard to get around in. Bathroom was dirty and lacked the right amount of towels and no robes as shown again on their website. Never got the room cleaned or serviced. Ended up calling the front desk 3 times before we could even get new towels. Neither TV worked properly and when we asked for help we were told that they were not TV repairman. We asked for a different room upon arrival but were told it was not an option for us. Emailed the manager and he just indicated they would try better next time. What a letdown. room was 206 so avoid if at all possible
