"Disappointed!"
August 2016
Had tickets for the tower and stopped to enjoy the view on our way out of town. There was a car show going on, and we were stopped going to the parking lot by a man who said we had to pay $13.00 even though we already had tickets for the tower and had no intention of going to the car show. I suggested that he double check since he was obviously not in charge. He walked away and came back only to confirm that we would indeed have to pay the money. Now, we have a classic car and the participants pay to show their vehicles but people coming to see the cars do not so I found that part shocking anyway, but was quite upset that those people were so insistent that we pay again. We did not pay and did not see the tower. Seems like everyone wants to milk the tourists.

"What a treat!"
April 2016
We visited the Shepherd of the Hills Inspiration Tower this weekend and it was truly a treat. The view is breath-taking! We were even able to watch a couple of people zip-line from the top. This is an inexpensive attraction and well worth your time.

We really enjoyed seeing Branson from above. A short elevator ride takes you to the top. Try it at night and during the day!

"Beautiful views"
March 2015
We visited the tower on our last day in Branson, and I couldnt think of a better ending to our trip. The views are spectacular! Make sure to take quarters with you for the machines, we didnt think about it and the change machine was out of order! Kind of a bummer, but the scenery really made up for it!

"Awesome point of view"
February 2015
I went with my teenage daughter. I thought she would think it was lame and boring, but she didn't. She loved the views and reading what we were looking at and how far we could see. We went early evening and had the place to ourselves. The elevator ride scared me, but I'm not a fan of heights.

Had a wonderful 1/2 day with Russ who gave us a history tour and learned a lot, His enthusiasm and knowledge kept our attention and was truly enjoyable! A trolley ride comes with the tour. Next year they will be having a brand new train to take place of the trolley. We also were able to go in the chapel that was moved to this location it is a true chapel that people can still be married in. Then we got back on the trolley and went up the hill to the tower which was an extra fee.. We then took in one sided glass elevator all the way up to the top seeing so far on all sides from Arkansas to the lakes. It was beautiful at the top of the tower spent 20 min. Tower is enclosed and air-conditioned which was lovely on such a hot day. We decided to take a zip line on top of the tower down to the bottom. For an extra fee. it was a blast once we reached the bottom we then took the trolley back up the hill and saw the children’s playground and a petting zoo with a baby donkey that was so cute we didn’t go in the little farmhouse where there were other animals and that was our enjoyable half a day! Each thing was sold separately so with the history tour comes the trolley ride. With the zip line you do get a trolley ride back up to your car. There’s an ice cream shop, a restaurant and a few shops with very talented people selling their wares, the only shop that was open was a woman who knits, crochets with demonstrations. Her pieces were beautiful. You choose how much you wanted to take in.

"Great Historical Play and Home Stead"

If you like history this is a must see. You take a tour of the homestead then that evening make sure and catch the Shepherd of the Hills Play. You will be engaged during the whole day and will learn all about the beginning of Branson. They also now offer other activities such as a rope course, ATV rides and you can take a ride to the top of the Inspiration Tower for great views of the area. Just this last week they had a grand opening of their new restaurant that serves some of the most delicious food in the area. I would definitely recommend taking the time to take in The Shepherd of the Hills
