We took a sunset spin on the Skystar Wheel during December, and what a treat!! I've been a Bay Area resident for over 20 years and I can honestly say a ride on this new observation wheel is one of the best things to do in San Francisco! Situated right on the waterfront of iconic Fisherman's Wharf, the wheel offers an all encompassing view that spans from the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz, Angel Island, The Headlands, Telegraph Hill, North Beach and you can even spot the bell tower at Berkeley! To see the city lit up from this vantage point made me fall in love with San Francisco all over again! It's a must on our list whenever guests come into town!

Well worth the view above Fisherman's wharf. It was a little expensive, but we were not on a hard budget and looking for something memorable to do after our dinner in Fisherman's wharf.
