Normally I am OK with Great Adventure however this time was a disaster. The lines were long but not horrible. THE BIG PROBLEM is the people jumping to the front of the line claiming to be disabled. Like the people who claim their dog is a service dog but really isn’t. I don’t have a problem with a few truly disabled people getting a break however the number of people jumping to the front of the line using a disabled pass was crazy. I just don’t believe they were all disabled. There were times the line almost didn’t move for 20 minutes because of this. It doubled or tripled the waiting time to get on a ride. Great Adventure should do a better job of policing this because until they do it just isn’t worth going there.

Wow. This park has experienced substantial decline while making promise after promise it failed to keep. As a long time season pass / member to the park, I have seen nothing good come out of this season and into next season. The park has more inoperable rides than active ones and depending on the day you go, the attraction may be running or not. Then, Flash was promised in 2024 and they failed to deliver that promise. Then, they promised a new Fright Fest extreme. After failing to deliver that for 3 consecutive weeks leading up to Halloween, why bother getting smothered and held in excessively long lines when Fright fest finally opened much closer to Halloween... Lastly, they promised a better experience and instead took down another quarter of the park including the world renown Kingda Ka. Good luck if you still choose to visit and plan for a terrible experience.

Where do I start? Surprisingly the park appears pretty empty and you would think that would correlate with a shorter wait time but that would be the furthest from the truth. The superman line stated 5 minutes, friends and my wife went on, 2 hours later they finally got off. I waited with my 2 kids for 2 hours since my wife had my wallet and phone in her bag. Next thing I'm on the way out of the park and I see the funnel cake place. I wait on the short line, get to the register and the funnel cake machine is broke! 2 for 2, won't be back here for a long time. Dave your money and time and dont come to think janky place.

i went to one ride, waited on line for about half an hour, and someone goes on the speaker, "this ride broke, so it will temporarily be closed. we don't know how long it will take to repair..." this happened by 4 rides. after 2 hours, i was extremely dissapointed that i hadn't even gone on even one ride. the last hour i was there, i was able to go on 3 rides, but make a calculation: it costed me 90 dollars (64 for the ticket, 26 for the parking) for disappointment and 3 rides.

"I've noticed that the park has gone downhill for sure, and inflation isn't an excuse for that."

I've been going since 2022, at first, I actually loved the park and it was one of the few places where I could be without being worried or scared of anything bad happening. But for real, it was good because of the dining pass needing only 90 minutes between sessions, a snack pass, and honestly decent food, plus the employees were chill and lines were shorter overall (which can't fully be controlled). Each year after however, the park has been going downhill, and I really think that inflation shouldn't be an excuse. The food has lost quality a bit, meanwhile they also shut down the Chinese place. Also, they environment has downgraded tremendously, and honestly worries me. The removal of useful passes and adding complications towards line in general is only most of the reason why the park has downgraded. I know I'm yapping but honestly, I used to feel welcomed and excited to go, but now every time I go I stay worried about all the complications.
