Celebrate fall festivities at the Shepherd of the Hills on select Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from September 22 – October 29, 2023.
Enjoy over 30 family-friendly attractions and activities, including Pumpkin House, Lil' Pete's Playland, Cattle Ropin', and more.
Children ages 3 and below can enjoy general admission activities for free!
Ample complimentary parking onsite.
Upgrade to The Great Pumpkin Adventure pass for the coaster ride, tower entry and ropes course.
Hayride opens 30 minutes after park opening. Coaster, ropes course and hayride close an hour before closing time.
Pumpkin painting, scarecrow building, pumpkin picking, and fall signature shakes and treats are available for an added fee.
Don't forget your cameras or smartphones for all the fall-themed photo ops!

Get ready for an unforgettable family adventure at The Shepherd of the Hills PumpkinFest – a fun-filled pumpkin fall festival in Branson, MO! Enjoy breathtaking views of Branson in the fall as guests stroll through the lively fall festival and take part in entertaining activities.

Create family memories with delightful hayrides, picking out and painting pumpkins, and even the chance to make a scarecrow. Don’t forget to capture picture-perfect moments in front of the pumpkin house, iconic pumpkin chair, and many more photo ops throughout the pumpkin event. There are plenty of festival attractions at this fall event to amuse the entire family.

Shepherd's Pumpkin Fest takes place on select dates from September 22 through October 29, 2023. Select Thursdays and Fridays: 12PM - 6PM, Saturdays: 10AM - 6PM, and Sundays: 10AM - 4PM. Operating hours are subject to change without prior notice.

Is this recommended for children?

Yes, absolutely! PumpkinFest offers family-friendly activities and attractions for everyone. Kids ages three and below can enjoy general admission activities for free!

Is there a dress code?

While there is no official dress code, family-friendly attire is recommended. All guests are required to wear shirts and shoes at all times. Shepherd of the Hills reserves the right to remove visitors who wear clothing with inappropriate/offensive messages/language or revealing clothing that exposes inappropriate portions of the body. Keep in mind that this is a kid-friendly event.

Is parking free?

Yes, parking is free for all activities.

Are there any physical restrictions?

Yes, several of the activities have height and/or weight restrictions. The Mega Slide has a minimum height limit of 42 inches. Included with The Great Pumpkin Ticket: The Sky Trek Challenge ropes course has a maximum weight of 300lbs and a minimum height restriction of 48 inches to participate without a chaperone. The Copperhead Coaster has a max weight of 375lbs (dry conditions) and 330lbs (wet conditions). It is also not recommended for guests who are pregnant, with heart, back, or neck problems, motion sickness, or other serious medical conditions.
