Overview

Launch from Inspiration Tower’s 140-foot open-air deck and soar ½ mile across the treetops on Shepherd of the Hill's Vigilante Extreme ZipRider. You’ll take the glass elevators up to the enclosed observation deck, then a short staircase down to the open-air deck, followed by a rushing zipline-style thrill ride across the 160-acre homestead at up to 55 mph.

Description

Vigilante Extreme ZipRider is an exciting thrill ride at Shepherd of the Hills in Branson, Missouri! Launching from the open-air deck of the Inspiration Tower, the Vigilante ZipRider will whisk you on an adrenaline-pumping downhill ride over The Shepherd of the Hills' 160-acre homestead. Travel 1/2 mile at speeds reaching up to 55 mph.

The patented ZipRider zip line cable controls the speed and braking so all you have to do is take your seat, sit back and enjoy the ride.

From the highest point in Missouri to your landing point 1/2 mile away, you’ll see the Ozarks from a breath-taking sky-high view.

Rider Information:
  • Minimum Weight per rider - 75 lbs.
  • Maximum Weight per rider - 275 lbs.

  • Must be between 52 and 80 inches

Not recommended for women who are or may be pregnant. All participants must sign a release form. Tour times are limited and subject to change based on weather and availability. Closed-toe shoes required. Flip flops, sandals, and skirts are prohibited.

Please note: The ZipRider only allows one rider per chair harness at a time. Children CANNOT sit in the lap of an adult during the ride.

If the temperature is less than 50 degrees or if wind is high or other inclement weather occurs, the ride will not be open.

This ride is recommended for ages 4 and older. All riders must be between 75lbs to 275 lbs., and be 52 inches tall but not over 80 inches. Children under the age of 16 years old must be accompanied by an adult.

Does this ride have any physical restrictions?

Since this is an adventure sport activity, it is not recommend for persons with high blood pressure, heart, back, or neck problems, motion sickness, recent surgery, medical sensitivity to quick stopping motions, extreme fear of heights, epilepsy, history of panic attacks or other conditions which could be aggravated by this adventure. Also, expectant mothers should not ride.

What should I wear?

Closed-toe shoes are required. No flip-flops or open heel shoes. Make sure shoelaces are tied.
