Where does the cruise depart from?

The cruise departs from Pier 3 on the Embarcadero, located on Washington Street. You will board at the South Gate on the right-hand side of the Pier when facing the water near the white overhang.

How long is the cruise?

The cruise lasts approximately 2.5 hours.

How early should I arrive?

Boarding starts 30 minutes before the cruise’s scheduled departure time. Arrive 30–45 minutes early to allow time for check-in, boarding, city traffic, and parking. If you’re planning to take the public transit, the Embarcadero BART station is approximately a 10-minute walk.

Is there parking nearby?

Yes, public parking is available near Pier 3. City Cruises guests may receive discounted rates at the Pier 3 parking lot (subject to availability). Additional paid lots are located along the Embarcadero. Rates and availability may vary.

Is the cruise suitable for children?

Yes. All ages are welcome aboard the San Francisco Signature Dinner Cruise, but please note that all minors require adult supervision. Children 3 years old and under cruise free, but do not forget to select a free ticket for them to ensure admittance.

Is the dinner served buffet-style or plated?

Dinner is served buffet-style and features chef-prepared entrées, salads, and desserts.

What if I have food allergies or dietary restrictions?

Vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options are available. However, please note that meals are prepared in a shared kitchen, so cross-contamination may still be possible.

Are drinks included in the ticket price?

The ticket price includes complimentary non-alcoholic beverages, but alcoholic drinks are available for purchase at the onboard bar for guests ages 21 and above with a valid photo ID.

Can I bring a cake from outside?

Yes, cakes brought from outside are allowed onboard, but there is an outside dessert service or a cake-cutting fee per person charge of $3.13. Please note that only flameless or LED birthday candles are allowed onboard.

Is there a dress code?

Smart-casual attire is suggested. Please wear khakis, nice jeans, dresses, button-up shirts and blouses.

Are pets allowed onboard?

No, pets are not allowed. Only ADA-compliant service animals are permitted on board.

Is the cruise wheelchair accessible?

The interior decks of the yacht are wheelchair accessible. Access to outdoor upper decks may be limited. Please contact City Cruises in advance to confirm specific accessibility needs.

What happens if it rains or snows?

The San Francisco Lunch Cruise sails rain or shine. In case of severe weather conditions or upon the advice of the U.S. Coast Guard, the yacht will remain dockside and still provide the full dining service.
